Individual tax returns. We do many returns of people who are sole proprietors of their business or are independent contractors and are paid by «1099“s. These include many real estate agents, entertainers, dancers, etc., as well as a fair amount of medical professionals, lawyers, and business people. We aim to minimize their taxes by thoroughly reviewing with them all deductible expenses. We assist with tax saving strategies or tax planning for future years. We do a very professional service, and are very fair with our rates. We are aware of how busy we all are here in NYC, and we maximize the use of secure technology to minimize the amount of time that this process takes for our clients. However, we also will spend the time that the client wants with us. We do not rush you in any way.
We also assist clients with other financial issues, providing advice on retirement planning, mortgage decisions, educational funding, and the like.

History
Established in 1998.
Originally we started as the Yergan Agency located at 226 E 89th st, where we provided insurance products and also tax preparation services. Agency was started by Eric Yergan after working on Wall St for 15 years, with Paine Webber, and DLJ. Eric has a MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA from Marist College. He and his partner, Marguerite, have all had extensive class room instruction in Taxes, and of course are registered with the IRS and NY State as Tax preparers. Eric sold his Insurance agency in October, 2011, and now does financial planning, tax preparation and planning all year long. Our goal is to save clients money!

Financial Background includes being Sr. VP at both Paine Webber and DLJ Investment banking firms. Additionally, owned an insurance agency on upper east side, from 1998 to 2011. Eric has worked in Financial services area since graduating from Harvard Business School, in 1982. Enjoys working with people and assisting them in improving their financial aspects of their lives.
