New York Loan also sells estate and antique jewelry and watches at «dealer prices» to the public from its office inside the International Gem Tower located in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District on 47^th Street. New York Loan has been coined by the media as the «Pawnshop to the Stars,» as a result of its high-​end clientele and emphasis on safety and customer confidentiality. And there is no limit to the amount that New York Loan can lend.

History

Established in 1938.

Jordan Tabach-​Bank opened New York Loan Company with the same goal in mind that motivated his grandfather to open its sister company in Beverly Hills over 75 years ago. New York Loan allows those temporarily down on their luck to discreetly make a short-​term pawn loan in a comfortable, confidential, and safe environment. Certified gemologists evaluate each item of collateral in private offices and all goods are stored in a state of the art underground vault. Jordan always had aspirations of expanding the family business to the East Coast, but needed the perfect location. After considerable research, Jordan purchased space in the International Gem Tower and opened New York Loan, which operates under the same high standards as its West Coast counterpart. Jordan is the 3^rd generation owner and CEO the of the two most upscale pawn shops in the US. Both offices provide discreet collateral loans against diamonds, gold jewelry, luxury watches, fine artwork, and one-​of-​a-​kind memorabilia. Beverly Loan Company was founded in 1938 and has remained family owned and operated ever since. This «Pawn Shop to the Stars» caters to those who require collateral loans against their prized possessions in a confidential office building environment in the heart of Beverly Hills. Its sister location, New York Loan Company, is conveniently and discreetly located in the International Gem Tower in Manhattan’s Diamond District. Jordan, a graduate of the University of Michigan and Loyola Law School, sits on the Board of Directors of the National Pawnbrokers Association. Jordan has represented the pawn trade in the media (New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN) and was one of four featured dealers on Discovery Channel’s Final Offer.
