Kristen was absolutely fantastic! I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend her to any bride looking for an amazing make-​up artist in the NYC area. I had a trial with another makeup artist but was looking for a more natural look for my wedding day since I didn’t want to not look like myself or look too overdone plus my now Husband doesn’t like me with too much makeup on. I did browsing on the Knot and came across Kristen’s profile and instantly feel in love with the pictures and the «natural» look she had on her brides. When I found out she was still available on my wedding date, I was ecstatic and quickly set up my trial to lock her in for my big day.
Not only was she super flexible with scheduling my trial (she actually did it on my birthday to make me feel even more special that day :)) but her laid back energy and down to earth vibe made me feel so relaxed and at ease not only at my trial but on my wedding day. Of course the day before my wedding out of nowhere, a huge pimple popped up right by my lip. In a panic the night before I popped it but the next day it was really red and still peeling (gross I know), but Kristen SAVED THE DAY and covered it up completely to the point that you couldn’t even tell that I had a breakout. Kristen is fantastic to work with and is truly an expert — she’s worked in the industry for years and is developing her own stuff which I can’t wait to purchase in the future! I cannot recommend her enough and truly thank her for making me look beautiful on my wedding day.

I was lucky enough to have my makeup done by Kristen for my brother in law’s wedding. Not only is she pleasant to talk to while she works, but she really knows her stuff (she gave me great guidance on choosing a new everyday look foundation). For the wedding makeup, Kristen made sure to ask what I wanted and continued to check in to make sure she was on the right track (which she was!) I got tons of compliments on how great my makeup looked and it lasted the whole affair. I highly recommend Kristen!

Kristen was an absolute pleasure to work with! She did an amazing job and everyone in the wedding party looked beautiful. She really listened to what each one of us wanted and everyone’s makeup lasted all day/​night. Highly recommended!

Kristen was such a pleasure to work with on my best friends wedding day. She was punctual and so receptive to all of our ideas. She was great managing her time. All of our makeup turned out great and even gave us some pointers while she was applying our make up. Would recommend her to anyone in the NYC area.

Kristen did an AMAZING job with my makeup. I was a nervous/​control-​freaky bride who is very comfortable doing my own makeup, and she was not only accomodating & adaptable, she worked around the «security blanket» makeup I needed and then took everything up a notch. She made my whole bridal party (& mom!) look amazing & she was so much fun on my special day. Could not possibly recommend her more highly.

Kristen did an amazing job on not just me, but my bridal party as well. Everyone was so pleased with her work and I believe she has gotten a few new weddings from mine. Kristen really knows her stuff and how to create a unique look for each bride. She took everything into consideration with creating a look, like my complexion, skin type, dress, wedding colors, wedding style, and hair! Her unique mix of traditional and airbrush foundation also made such a difference and it lasted all day. I recommend her to any bride looking for the best of the best!

Kristen not only did an amazing job on everyone at my wedding but made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed. She made us feel like it was just a bunch of girls hanging out, and it really took a lot of the stress of the day away. A lot of us (myself included) don’t normally wear much makeup, so it was important to us that no one felt overdone. The makeup lasted all day and looked flawless in pictures too, I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

As the rating points out, «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» And I couldn’t agree more. Kristen did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and I’ve never looked better. My normally oily skin was flawless and shine free and my usually invisible eyelashes were long and dazzling. I felt absolutely stunning. My makeup lasted all morning and night (and even after not washing my face before going to bed (whoops) it still looked gorgeous in the morning)! Kristen is truly an artist with a makeup brush. Kristen also made me feel extremely comfortable and listened to the bride about how she wanted the bridesmaids’ makeup to look. We all looked fabulous, especially the bride herself. I would 100% recommend Kristen to all of my friends and anyone reading this review, and I will obviously be using her for any and all of my own upcoming events/​affairs. Kristen, thanks for your outstanding job and talent!!!

For someone who does not wear a lot of make-​up on a regular basis, needless to say, I was incredibly hesitant to have my make up done for the wedding. I did not want to look «painted» or, not like myself. Kristen not only listened to my concerns, and acknowledged them, but she also was able to do my make up in a way that not only accentuated my features, and gave me a soft, feminine look that lasted literally all day. I have never felt so beautiful! Not only did my make up hold up, and look amazing from 9am to 10pm, she also did an incredible job on my bridesmaids as well. We all looked our best, and I’m so thankful for Kristen’s expertise, and ease to be around.

I’ve been in NUMEROUS weddings, and the work by Kristen was by far the best experience I’ve had yet! It’s very easy for wedding makeup to appear too harsh, or not stay on all day. This was absolutely not the case, which is why I’d recommend her to anyone! Great job, Kristen!
