Do Laundry For Me

The first month I used this service, it was impeccable. I signed up for a continuous booking every 2 weeks for a small discount. At $ 1.50 a lb its a bit pricey compared to others in the area but worth it for the ease of pickup/​delivery. Also the driver would text to confirm the time he was coming which was helpful.
I then contacted them to change my normal pickup/​delivery times once summer approached since I would be traveling a lot. This is where things started to slip. The times would keep getting mixed up and they no longer texted so I was never really sure when to expect them. Then they just stopped coming. Calls and emails have gone unanswered and on their site it does not look like they are taking any new business. At least the form that was there is no longer anywhere to be found. Shame really, I liked them a lot.

Really disappointed with the response here… After reading a few good reviews, I thought my clothes would be safe with their dry cleaning methods. Boy was I wrong. My Burberry scarf came back stiff & with a black stain. I emailed them once I saw it & of course no response.
Guess I won’t be using them again…

This place was fantastic, did the work better than any other service I’d used, and the laundry smelled fresh and wonderful every time, until… They disappeared from the earth, not picking up my clothes at the scheduled time, not answering my 3 emails, not answering the phone. I worry that they may have gone bankrupt and are leaving me with nothing but a big «do your laundry yourself»… I am filled with sadness at the thought

Great laundry service! The prices are very affordable and the customer service is fantastic. It’s super convenient for me that they come and pick up your laundry and also drop it off for you so you literally don’t have to leave your home. I always get my laundry back sorted and folded very neatly. Would definitely recommend!

It drives me crazy that this place has such good reviews. It began ok, and then they started missing their pick-​up dropp-​off windows leaving us stuck at the house waiting for them like shmucks.
Then a couple weeks ago they just flat out didn’t show up with our laundry and we were leaving town the next day! So we were stuck without our laundry for a 3 day wedding weekend.
The final straw was this saturday where we had a morning pickup with a window of 7am to 11am, and we waited at home all morning for them to show up, and then some more since we knew they missed their pickup windows (how do you miss a 4 hour pickup window!) and by 1pm we gave up. Now we have guests coming today with no clean sheets for them.
This company is the worst.
Perhaps they used to be acceptable in the past but our last two experiences have been horrendous.
Maybe its just impossible to get a good laundry service in NYC and that’s why everyone gives them 5 star reviews.

Got my laundry done here, they shrank one of my favorite white tees (see pic attached: normal size left, shrink on right). but the rest of my clothes were good money and fresh af. I can’t really blame them, it was a cheap tee. I guess its my fault for buying cheap tees in the first place, they always be shrinking. The shirt fits super tight now, my roommates laugh at me every time I walk around the house in them. I walked to the grocery store wearing it one time and there was a gay parade that day, and brahhh it made me feel uncomfortable. but i’m not even mad doe. a good thing is when I have shorties over, I let them wear it and it fits them perfectly. Everything happens for a reason, one hundred.

My friend has told me about this service recently so I decided to give Do Laundry For Me a shot. All it takes is a simple appointment which can be made online. Then they pick up your laundry from you which only took 15 minutes. They are very professional and jotted down specific instructions on what could and what couldn’t be put in the dryer.
I plan on using this service again as it really does save you a great amount of time. Thank you DLFM!

The worst laundry service ever. I have used different laundry services with free delivery, and I found this one the worst.
First of all, their pickup /​delivery window is 3 hours. That’s right. If you don’t have a doorman, you have to wait there without knowing when they would show up. Second, the phone number provided on the website does not work. I tried to call and check if the pickup person was coming after I waited for almost three hours, so I called. It went into the voicemail right away…
Lastly, it’s extremely expensive not because the listed prices online. But they changed the service I ordered!!!
I asked for wash and press, but they used dry clean service. I asked for wash and fold for some of my dresses. They dry cleaned them without my consent.
I do NOT want those pieces to be dry cleaned.
I ended up spending more than double amount of money than I was supposed to. DO NOT use them.
UPDATE:
Called them asking why the service didn’t match what I originally ordered. They are really patient and explained how the worker accidentally swapped two orders. The manager solved the issue quickly and issued a refund, which is really nice of them.

DLFM gets a solid 5 stars from me. Hands down. I recently overloaded my washer at home and it broke so I had a large pile of dirty laundry sitting around. Too lazy and didn’t want to go to that shady laundromat in my area. On my way to a family party the past weekend someone accidentally bumped into me and he got his coffee on my suit and dress shirt. Now I definitely didn’t want to look crusty in front of my family and their friends so I did some Unilocaling and BAM! DLFM was just a couple of blocks away.
Got there at 5pm and the guy in the front was super nice and professional. Made me feel at ease on my situation because he said it would be dry cleaned and done fairly quickly. I left the shop for about forty minutes or so for some bubble tea and by the time I came back. Mmmph. My suit looked even better than before. Service was great and the quality was amazing. Was excited to put that suit back on. I had to come back.
I brought my pile of dirty laundry at home (and some clean ones too just for the sake of getting them super clean) that following week and was super satisfied with the service once again.
My new washer is coming in soon so I’m not sure if I’ll be coming here as often, but if my clothes gets in a messy situation and I’m in the area, I’ll know where to go. DLFM can handle all messy loads. Thanks.

Usually I’m a bit skeptical about someone else handling my laundry, but Do Laundry For Me definitely changed my mind. For the affordable price and how clean my clothes turn out, I definitely recommend them. Makes my laundry routine extremely convenient and saves a lot of time from my day. The workers are very professional and friendly. And my clothes turn out very fresh and clean!

I don’t usually pay others to do my laundry but since I’m from Boston and was traveling in NYC for work, I figured why not. I was really impressed by their prompt and professional services! The prices were very reasonable, especially considering how wonderful of a job they did. I highly recommend the service to anyone who can afford it. It’s definitely worth it!

Not only do they provide the service of cleaning and folding, but they offer pick up and delivery, which you can book online at their website. With the convenience and excellent service of this laundromat, it’s worth every penny. I would highly recommend for those living in the city, or even if you’re visiting and need a trustworthy place to get your laundry done.

I never thought that’d I would ever have to use a laundry service in my life. However, living in the city with a work life leaves me little time to do all the things I want or need to do. A friend recommended Do Laundry For Me since she said they can do a great job for a reasonable price. I dropped off a huge load of laundry and they were able to finish the job very quickly. I had fresh clean clothes all folded nicely and ready to go! I’m glad I found this place and will be using it all the time from now on.

When I was staying in New York, I happened to pass by Do Laundry For Me and decided to get my laundry done here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They clearly cared a lot about making my laundry experience as easy and quick as it could be. They took care of everything and I was extremely satisfied with the results. I’ve had some bad experiences with laundromats before — including missing items, stains, etc. — but I didn’t have any issues or concerns with Do Laundry For Me.

Okay — so I’ve been living in NYC for roughly 10 years and laundry day in NYC generally = lugging all your ish to a laundromat or spending 2+ hrs hauling clothes up and down stairs to a 1 machine — 1 dryer in your dingy basement. Can you tell I loooove laundry Sundays?
Well, Do Laundry For Me completely uprooted my laundry routine. Every so often when I’m feeling a wee bit lazy, I’ll put in a pick-​up request for DLFM and everything from start to finish is super efficient, easy, and smooth. I usually send over Dry Cleaning but sometimes will throw in the occasional wash n fold. All my clothes come back looking as good as new and smelling so fresh and so clean clean ;)
Also — all the employees I’ve encountered thus far are so professional and I can tell they love what they’re doing!

They have been «doing laundry for me» since December and I love it. Very professional with their clients and replies very quickly and swiftly to any inquiries. Their delivery service is the same, never have I had my laundry delivered to me late. Plus unlike other laundry businesses, my clothes never came back in a different size nor were there any colors bleeding.
Highly recommended for those who have no time to laundry throughout their busy week. 5 Stars enough said.

Located in the heart of Chinatown, DLFM basically says it all in their business. They do your laundry for you, but not only that they take it a step further, ’cause you know, we’re in the 21^st century and all. You do everything online — perfect if you’re not a fan of talking on the phone or you’re just busy at work all day. So start by giving a time for pick up, they pick it up, then they clean it and fold it (if you’re into ironing — they do that too but for a fee) and deliver it back to you. And honestly, if you were sick the whole day and needed laundry done like everyone else in NYC, you could do this without leaving your bed.
DLFM prides itself in exactly what the internet was meant to do for businesses, creating a cost-​efficient way that is satisfactory for its customers. The service is great, prices are not bad at all, and of course, it’s a small business — how much better does it get?

I’m skeptical about letting others handling my laundry, but DLFM does a great job. The service is clean, prices are fair, customer service is super friendly, and booking through their website was easy and straight forward.
Only used them twice so far but I’ll definitely be using them more in the future!

Overall, very friendly staff. Good people. I normally have to drive to get my laundry done at my favorite spot but now that I’ve found DLFM, I think I’m going to stick with them for days to come.

I never thought I would ever be paying for laundry pick up and delivery. My parents had always made sure I did these chores myself. It wasn’t until I got a last minute call for a job interview, that I went online and searched for these services. Luckily I found Do Laundry For Me, and I was able to get my blazer and skirts picked up on the same day, and dry cleaned and delivered on the next.
The prices seem to be on par with other laundry pick up and delivery services, and they had great customer service. I will probably use them for normal wash & fold and see how it works out.
