Incredible.
We had a ‘deep clean’ of our apartment when we moved in last month. Kate did an unbelievable job. Many thanks too to Vadim for the excellent communication around scheduling, and for accommodating rug cleaning at the last moment.
Owing to this experience we now use Hippodrome for monthly ‘regular’ cleaning. We highly recommend you give them a try.

good, inexpensive dry cleaning and laundering services. I used the Unilocal deal and then the next time, I was given a 10% discount, as well. Much cheaper than Manhattan prices, and the service is excellent.

Really great customer service, everyone was really nice and polite but the price estimate they offered me was disappointing. I went in to see how much it would be to get my prom dress hemmed and they said $ 150, which is more than how much my dress cost! I found two other places, one that said $ 48 and another that said $ 30, so I was really disappointed because I had heard such great things about this place :/

Manuel did an amazing job! My wedding is around the corner and he was able to make all of the changes I needed in no time at all and it was affordable. Everything was easy– thank god!

Very good service! A pleasure to do business with. Every time I call them they arrive on time for laundry pick up and I always get my laundry back the next day.

This place was ok. Nothing spectacular. I brought my bridesmaids dress here for alteration. The guy hemmed the bottom and brought the front in for me like I asked, but did nothing to fix the extra strap fabric in the back and it was gaping. I had to come back again after they finally fixed it. A little pricey too. Another bridesmaid went somewhere else and her dress cost $ 45 to get altered where I was charged $ 95

Work and customer service are absolutely phenomenal. I had a bridesmaid dress fixed here. The dress was pleated all the way from top to bottom however, the dress’s pleats were all messed up as I receive it from the mail. Upon reading the reviews here, I decided I’d give it a shot. I needed the dress to be fixed right away since my flight is on Saturday. Wednesday was when it was handed to them and they promised that it would be ready by Friday. I just picked up my dress today. The dress was flawless, perfect pleats, which is my main concern and also had it cut by two inches. They did a wonderful job.
Now another thing that’s worth mentioning is the CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Vajib (not sure if I spelled it correctly) came outside to meet me since I was having difficulty finding the place. I don’t think any place would make this effort. My dress was holding into a necklace. It was really dependent with necklace and I broke it while trying on. This is my fault for not being careful. Vajib fixed it for me. Note that this is not part of the deal and he did not charge me for it. He could’ve just brush me off and say, hey we’re closing and we don’t have equipment for this, but he didn’t. He was genuinely concerned about my dress and fixed it.
As for the pricing, it was reasonable. I used Unilocal deal and paid in cash to redeem 5% off.
You should go here for alterations; pricing, output and customer service is a real thumbs up!

I have to tell you when it comes to tailoring and customer service these guys are tops!
1. I needed a gown tailored for a wedding in a short amount of time and during the holiday season.
2. I went in, we discussed my best fit, I let them know about some additional tailoring I liked.
3. They quoted me at an incredible price for all the alterations I needed.
4. My dress fit perfectly a mere two weeks later (I had to go out of town).
I traveled all the way from the Bronx just get this great service and it was absolutely worth the money and the time. Also, these guys are courteous and professional.

Not what you’d expect to find in the basement of a high-​rise, but these guys are great. I got 3 pair of pants hemmed here. They have a changing room where I was able to try on each pair and have them sized by the seamstress and they were ready right on time. Super polite and reasonably priced (especially with the Unilocal deal!)
I also had a pair of beloved combat boots which I asked if he could restore (they do shoe repair as well). Instead of nickel and diming me he let me know they were basically a lost cause. I’ll definitely be back, because I think most places would have done a shoddy job repairing the shoes, charged an arm and a leg, and instead he was very honest with me and I appreciate that.

This place is absolutely awesome. I had some evening gowns and leather pants altered at a price that was within my budget. I got my things done for a song, literally. The gentlemen working there were very nice to me, appreciated my circumstances & it’s a great location. I’m coming back with all my dry cleaning, tailoring and special clothing needs since they got the job done right & I feel like my altered items are reborn.

Very personable and professional. I had a bit of an odd request and needed a very quick turn around. They were very accommodating to my ideas and were able to turn around the garment in 24 hours. Fantastic quality and craftsmanship. Would highly recommend.

We had a short engagement so we were on a strict budget. I had a friend who has has some hemming done here and the reviews were good so I gave it a chance. When I got here I was so nervous, since it’s a tailor in the basement of a building. They seemed nice enough and the price was SO much cheaper than other places so I left my gown.
I went to pick up my gown with a bit of nerves and the gown looks beautiful! I am so happy with the service and the price. Thanks!

Amazing. Professional. Friendliest tailoring service ever. Actually I never really get my dresses altered until now, for a bridesmaid dress and everything was super easy and welcoming here. I knew my dress was gonna be a pain to alter – 3−4 layers. But the man (I think maybe he’s the owner or supervisor or manager???) and tailor were both so friendly. The owner man even took time to show me a shortcut out of the building. It’s the small details that make this place so amazing.
I went here by looking through Unilocal reviews and since it was near my house. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much and kinda worried bc it was in the basement of an apartment complex. But this place is awesome. I wish they could get a storefront because they truly deserve more business. I hope those of you reading this will come to this friendly yet professional place. Because I’m literally thinking of just buying dresses, even if they’re a bit too large – because then I can simply get it altered here

First time giving review on Unilocal and this dry cleaning place definitely deserve to be praised. Very friendly staff and superb service. I brought my suit in on Friday asking whether they can rush it if i pay extra. Took me as a surprise, the staff told me they will rush mine next day without extra charge. I know this may not seem so extraodinary but its the little thing that counts. Keep up the good work, definitely earned my business and will recommend all to do dry cleaning in this place!

The tailoring and alterations are excellent!!!
I’ve had to have alterations done here twice and both times the work has been impeccable; the fit, flawless. When the tailor has questions as to how to proceed, he doesn’t make assumptions. He calls and gives options! I know that should be standard but…
I bring wash and fold here all the time and it’s excellent. The dry cleaning has always been reliable as well.
I just wanted to put the word out about the tailoring. Great quality in a laundry located in a high rise basement! Who knew???

This is in my building, so the convenience factor is a major plus. However, their services are outstanding as well! I’ve done everything form laundry drop off, to wash and press, to tailoring, and everything was wonderful. They even offer house cleaning and window washing packages too, which is great.
The staff is always happy to help solve any type of issue, but so far so good, I haven’t had any problem and it’s always a great experience.
