Dara Liotta, MD

I am feeling extremely upset as I write this review. I had such high hopes from his dr after reading her reviews on «realself». In fact I had decided., that if I like her then I would get a rhinoplasty with her in the near future. But alas !! I had gone to her for a HA dermal filler in the nose (I have done this 4times previously with other docs). She messed up my nose !! She hit an artery and did not even realize it. I had put makeup on and her office lights are really dim (surprising for a place where procedures are done), so even I didn’t realize. I came home feeling groggy and in pain but thought it’s just bec of usual swelling. As soon as I washed my makeup off, to my horror I saw that the place where she had injected had blanched and turned stark white like a ghost !! Yep, my worst fears had come true. She had occluded my blood vessel. Had I not caught it in time, I would have got necrosis and lost my nose !!! I panicked and called her. She called me back to her office and dissolved it with more injections, ouch!!! (I gave one star for this. She seemed worried and came back to office after hours & she refunded me). Well my nose has now healed but the horror will stay in my mind and il never trust these reviews again!

If i could give 10 stars or more i would because Dr. Dara Liotta truly deserves it.
After a traumatizing accident i’ve needed an important surgery a so called rhinoplasty.
My nose was very traumatized and i had to deal with an insurance that wasn’t respected everywhere. My first visit at Dr. Dara Liotta was very different from my other visits at the other High –Profile Plastic surgeons. Dr. Liotta truly cared about the history of my accident and was very competent while explaining me what kind of surgery she would perform to correct my nose and help me fully breath again. She also fully cared about my psychological pain i had to face so far and without even having to explain she knew what i was experiencing psychologically. Dr. Liotta always took enough time for me to meet up with me at her office to discuss the surgery itself and all of my remaining concerns.
All other surgeons on the UES, only wanted to meet me once and then get an approval from me to proceed quickly and then wanted to meet again only at the hospital for surgery. Also the costs at the two other surgeons where higher as well, both surgeons had a very different view of how the surgery should be performed and i had to make a lot of research on my own.
Then i got a «magic» referral to Dr. Dara Liotta. Thank God!
I can only say that deciding for Dr. Liotta as my surgeon was the very best decision i could have done in my life. This surgery was life changing. My nose was repaired, i can breath to 300%:) and my nose looks so much better than ever before :).
Before during and after surgery Dr. Liotta set up several meetings and fallow up appointments. Dr. Liotta truly cares about her patients with all her heat. She is utmost service oriented and incredibly warm and kind and most importantly extremely competent. She has perfomed an excellent surgery on me and so she has given my quality of life back. Thanks to Dr. Liotta and if i need help in future i will only consult Dr. Dara Liotta, no-​one else, no matter what’s written in the internet about other surgeons in the area. I’ve consulted the best of the very best who have been taken care of true celebrities but Dr. Liotta was sticking out when i met her and i had been met two other surgeons before. I’m so very lucky i’ve chosen her to do surgery on me. Dr. Liotta makes certainly sure that you are naturally looking and everything else will be fine. Ive also liked very much her thoughtful and detailed after-​care brochure with tips what to eat and how to take care of yourself before and after surgery to support the healing.

Lexington ENT is terrific. Dr. Liotta performed a complicated rhinoplasty/​septoplasty on my very crooked nose. Results were superb both aesthetically and functionally. They took the time with me before, during, and after surgery to instruct, advise, answer questions with sensitivity and expertise. They also worked very actively on my behalf to get insurance approval for the surgery. Office staff is friendly and professional. All in all they are are terrific and I recommend them highly.
