I’ve been to many dentists and can confidently say these guys are as good as it gets. I had a severe phobia and had avoided the dentist for three years– and had come in with a chipped tooth plus years worth of additional damage. Dr. Boris was extremely kind and walked me through all options– ranging in cost so I could choose what was most affordable to me. I chose a plan that worked for my finances, and left me with an amazing smile that I never though would be possible. I’m happy to say that I’ve found a dentist who I can trust and will stick with long-​term.

I’ll start off by saying Dr. Boris is THE best dentist I have met over the years. I have lived in NYC for three years and have visited multiple dentists, only to be disappointed each time — seeing charges for procedures that have not been fully explained to me, feeling like I was just another person in a queue that needed to be seen and an overall lack of professionalism and desire to meet/​understand patients.
After I told this to a co-​worker, I was recommended to Dr. Boris and have visited for the first time in late 2015. Dr. Boris was very friendly and polite as many have mentioned in their reviews but more importantly, made an earnest attempt to develop a relationship. I believe this to be important because patients place their trust in their doctors with an assumption that any actions taken or recommendations made are for their best interest. With that said, Dr. Boris was very engaging both professionally and individually. We chatted for a few minutes and then proceeded to look at the patient history form and insurance information together. I told him about my last dentist visit and sought advice on what needed to be done about my wisdom tooth that had surfaced — Dr. Boris recommended that an exaction would be best and explained in detail why it would be the best for me after taking a few x-​rays and examining my teeth.
In a subsequent visit, Dr. Boris performed the exaction and it was as pleasant of an experience as it could have been (pulling out one’s wisdom tooth is never a pleasant experience to begin with lol). Before the procedure, I was comforted by the fact that he explained what will be done. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Boris provided me with heads-​up along the way on when I would expect to feel slight discomfort and pressure, etc. Basically, I walked in very nervous but felt the whole thing went very smoothly and comfortably contrary to what I expected. He then explained what is to be expected in the next few weeks in terms of how I will feel, what types of food I should eat, what each medication that he subscribed are for, etc.
Honestly, I could talk about all the things I mentioned above in even more detail and even about my most recent visit and how it was also a pleasant experience but at the end of the day, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Boris to anyone seeking a well-​qualified dentist without ANY hesitation. I have already recommended a few people and they also have only great things to say about Dr. Boris. Definitely a well-​deserved 5-​star rating and am truly glad I found this practice after a long search!

For a few reasons, I didn’t get to a dentist for about 5 years. ugh. and so unlike me and everything I was ever taught. I knew my teeth were in bad shape. I was born and raised in NYC and it gave me anxiety just to think of how I was going to find a dentist who not only had the expertise, but one who really cared and understood me and my sensitivity to everything. I dreaded the search. I made phone calls and had a few consults, but nothing clicked.
Then I met Dr. Boris Pinhasov – aka Dr. Boris. I was instantly comfortable. He was a little bit different from the others I’d met. Different in the best way possible. My instincts knew he was smart and that he loved his work. Also, I liked his soft way of speaking. It gave me a feeling that all was going to be well. And it was. He’s located in a wonderful building in midtown. The office also shows the respect and care he has for patients — it’s IMMACULATE.
Mandy is at the helm of keeping things running smoothly and efficiently. She follows up with you on any matter required and settles it with ease. She’s super smart with all things technical in communications. Gregory is Dr. Boris’ assistant, and a real super person too. He is very friendly with a great sense of humor, and takes an interest in you.
Over the course of more than a year, the work I had done included: 2 extractions, 1 root canal, 6 upper porcelain crowns, and an upper partial. Dr. Boris never lost his caring attention to any issue or question that I had along the way. He had infinite patience for my concerns and questions, and I had a lot of them. I would email him if I thought of another question, or if I was worried in particular about something. He was always available and assuring. He wanted me to be happy, and I was.
For those of you still searching for a highly skilled, caring and respectful dentist in NYC, join forces with Dr. Boris P. You will feel relaxed, confident and comfortable about having him as your dentist.

The BEST dentist I have ever seen!
After I loved into NYC since 2014, I’ve changed at least three dentists. Some of them I immediately passed after one visit because they gave me crazily high bill prediction, like over $ 5K. Some of them I found ok during first visit but later on I experienced some problems in booking, billing, or treatment. But I stopped ‘shopping’ around after I found Dr. Boris.
I’ve visited here three times so far since last November. He is always polite, friendly, punctual, and most important, very professional. He always told me what the real situation is, what are some solutions I can choose from, what the costs might be… Detailed and sounds reasonable. He never scared me how bad my teeth are, or pushed me to pay for any treatment. As a dentist, he doesn’t give you any pressure and you just trust what he recommends. That’s the most important thing to me as a patient.
Also, Dr. Boris is very approachable. They have a txt system, so that if you run into any problems and don’t have time to see him, you can send a message and their front desk lady will tell you what Doctor suggests. This system is awesome and saves me much time and money when I struggled with my wisdom tooth early this year.

I have found Dr. Boris when I needed an urgent solution for a broken tooth. The service I received was beyond AMAZING! He is a very gentle and extremely skilled dental specialist, hence the name «Dental Solutions» :) I have decided to use Dr. Boris for all my dental needs, and have not experienced a pain once during all my procedures. I will be back for my semi-​annual cleanings and braces. His staff is also very accommodating and always so happy to help. I will be suggesting his practice to everyone I know!

Dr. Boris and his practice are wonderful! I’ve never had such thorough cleanings and thoughtful care. This place is special, and the staff are one of kind. Extra care is taken in every visit, and they have an incredible way of making the patient feel comfortable. I have never waited to get in to an appointment, service is quick and painless, highly recommended!

They’re are very professional here. They have great customer service & interpersonal skills. I was having some pain after my teeth feelings & Mandy was so empathetic; as she followed up with me to check on my status days later. It’s hard to find that nowadays & I’m happy to find them just doors down from my job. Will be back very soon!

I highly recommend Dr. Boris! His staff is extremely helpful, polite and amazing with scheduling. His hours are extremely accommodating (he’s open on Sundays!) and he is a fantastic dentist. He takes his time to explain everything in detail so there are never any surprises and is EXTREMELY gentle. I had never been to any other dentist but my father, and after he retired was apprehensive about going anywhere else. I had recently started working next door to Dr. Boris’s office and when I chipped one of my front teeth had no idea where to go. After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews online, I decided to give Dr. Boris a call and was so pleased with the results. He did such an amazing job on my tooth and was so accommodating during every step of the way.

Of a sudden a sunday morning my tooth started to hurt very bad. The pain was so bad that i couldn’t even eat and since i was pregnant at the time I needed someone to check my tooth immediately. Dr. Boris was open on sunday and i decided to pay him a visit. He is always so pleasant and makes his patients comfortable. He took great care of me and is now our family dentist. I highly recommend him.

I initially decided to see Dr. Boris based upon all the overwhelmingly positive Unilocal and online reviews. After getting a comprehensive cleaning and three fillings, I can see why everyone believes he is the best dentist. Going to the dentist is something that I truly dread, especially since I have gotten extensive dental work throughout my life. Dr. Boris is an extremely experienced, knowledgeable, attentive, caring doctor and his bedside manner is top notch. Dr. Boris took extra time to go through my x-​rays and treatment options and costs with me in advance. He was extremely gentle with his procedures and I look forward to going back.
His office is conveniently located in mid-​town near my workplace. The office is nice, clean, and well maintained. Additionally, Mandy at the front desk and his assistant, Gregory, are among the most pleasant support staff that I had the pleasure of working with.

Dr. Boris is the best! I’m not afraid to see the dentist anymore. He is very thorough with the dental procedures, is upfront about the costs, and has great bedside manner. He is not condescending; he really cares about your dental health, which I really appreciate. Mandy, the receptionist, is also very pleasant and easy to work with. I initially looked for a place close to where I work but I plan to stay with them even if I move. So many of my coworkers are patients of his because I can confidently refer them to him. The cozy midtown office is conveniently located and highly equipped. One thing I want to point out is that he did not charge me extra for doing another round of deep cleaning, which was extremely generous. Also, shots are the worst but he is very gentle when administering. And I never knew that teeth cleanings could be painless!

Since childhood I have always dreaded going to the dentist. The thought of white, sterile offices with screeching instruments and surgical masks always terrified me. Beyond that irrational fear, I also dreaded having to endure the endless waits and scheduling headaches. By chance I came across BP Dental Solutions on ZocDoc and decided to give it a go. Since then I have done four wisdom teeth extractions and multiple cleanings at BP Dental. Dr. Boris is the most professional doctor I have ever come across and makes my dental visits completely painless, literally and figuratively. He is extremely friendly, and so is everyone in his office. I genuinely felt cared for as a patient. Scheduling via ZocDoc is a breeze. Dr. Boris was very knowledgeable and thorough and explains everything completely. The staff is also very courteous and great to deal with. Going to the dentist is normally a painful experience but not so with Dr. Boris and team.

5 Stars! Being a busy New Yorker, I initially found Dr. Boris because of his Sunday hours. My husband and I have been going to him for two years now and i can honestly say he is the best dentist we have ever had. He has a terrific bedside manner, he is always prompt with apts. his office is very clean, and above all he is thorough. he will go over all X rays with you, and explain to you why he is doing what he has to do. You will never get the sense that he is trying to up-​sale you or do any unnecessary procedures. My husband had to have pretty extensive dental work over a series of several weeks– Dr. Boris went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure that my husband felt comfortable, and even called him on his personal time to make sure the healing processes was going well.
Definitely 5 stars.

One of the best doctors around. He has treated me and my mother very well, in terms of pricing and taking his time to understand the problem and explaining solutions.
From the minute you walk in you are greeted by a smiling girl who actually greets you as if you walked in to a house not a doctors office. Then as if that’s not enough they ask if you would like to have any coffee or tea. Then Dr. Boris takes from there to give you the best treatment possible. He has done my invisaligns and took care of my mothers few problems that she had. Now I’m taking my cousin there to get his wisdom teeth removed.
Let’s not forget how clean the office is, it shines like a diamond.
