Business Owner
Averil began her career in Savannah, Georgia, developing her love of cutting and coloring into one of the most sought-out stylists in the city. She quickly branched out as an educator for the Schwarzkopf International color line. It wasn’t too long before she felt the beckoning call of New York City.
Averil began freelancing on photo shoots full-time and landed a spot on Guido Palau’s team during Fashion Week for Marc Jacobs, Diesel and J Mendel. She then began to assist such phenominal hairstylists as Didier Malige and Neil Moodie. She also gained amazing experience assisting on shoots for Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, and Victoria’s Secret. Her publication shoots include Vogue, Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Love Magazine, Nylon and Harper’s Bazaar.
Currently, she is in demand for any hair styling needs at Alchemy Salon located in the Chelsea area of New York City. You may contact her for her day rate or to schedule an appointment.
