love this place, I never went back to the dealer for the service of my car, they are fast, professional and friendly besides they charge you much lower than what dealer charges you for the same service, i am on my second MB and they take of everything, absolutely everything, A+

I used Dynamic Performance for the first time because it was conveniently close to my new office and provided transportation back and forth while my car was being worked on. I dropped my car off about a week ago for a service due and got a call shortly after stating my brakes and rotors need to be replaced and it would cost an additional $ 625. My Mercedes only has 21,000 miles on it. I don’t know much about cars but it didn’t sound right to me and I wasn’t prepared to add another $ 625 to my bill so I asked him to hold off. He stated my sensor would go off shortly and what do you know, as soon as I picked up the car the check brake pad light was on. I mentioned it to a couple people who also didn’t think it sounded right and advised me to have another place check it out. I was referred to my dad’s Mercedes mechanic and after looking at the car, he stated that only my brake pads were low and my rotors were fine. The cost was only $ 205. Dynamic performance was about to charge me an additional $ 420 to supposedly replace rotors that didn’t need replacing. I’m really glad I got a second opinion and would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle here.

That’s not true and you even sent me an email stating it was within .1 of a millimeter and asked me to bring my car back in to measure it. At that point I had been driving it for a couple weeks with my new brakes. The other mechanic didn’t violate any laws but actually measured everything in front of me and showed me the specifications.

Brought my BMW here and Ken and Ben took care of me. My valves were making a weird noise. They diagnosed and fixed them while they were changing the oil in my car. Not only that I told them my not German car was also messed up and they told me what was wrong with it and saved a lot of money. There is not many honest people out there especially with auto repair. It falls under the same category as the dentist! To expensive to fix! And they did it! New customer and customer for life. Thank you Ken and Ben!

Pretty much the epitome of a bad mechanic cliché. This was my second time visiting them. I’d gone once before because I was looking for a minor fix and shopping locally. Wasn’t particularly enthused to go back but I marked it up to just thinking about having to spend money on car maintenance.
Dropped off car for a check engine light. After having the car for 2 days was told that it required work that was $ 500 more than the entire value of the car. «No way around it. These cars always need this around the mileage you have.» And they would replace the wipers; I declined the wipers.
Asked him to go through, part by part, labor hour by hour. When asked about the details, the names and parts of said details varied by as much as $ 500 each. Alarms start to go off. They recommended that they replace the spark plugs. I had done this personally less than 10k miles before. The response, «Hey Jimmy, pull one of those spark plugs. I want to look at them.» Nothing that I’d brought the car in for was related to the electrical or engine performance. I declined the spark plug replacement. And they still wanted to replace the wipers; again, I declined the wipers.
Call back to see if there were ways to reduce the costs. Not possible. We could not replace the wipers but the spark plugs still need to be redone. Ask for another break down of costs. Prices still all over the place. He includes the costs for wiper replacement. I decline the wiper replacement.
So I ask for the car back. The check engine light was on but there wasn’t any performance issues. Thought I would run the error code myself. Once I get the car back, I figured I’d call around town to see who might have better prices. Prices quoted over the phone are 30% of the quotes provided by Dynamic.
Found another mechanic to do the work and he calls me 30 mins into the service:
1. None of the repairs that Dynamic recommended are needed. He wondered why I even asked about them.
2. Dynamic had cleared and deleted the history of the check engine light so no one can see what previous errors were recorded. Pure shady behavior.
I can’t recommend these guys at all. Inaccurate, shady, overpriced.

I finally found a reputable Mercedes repair facility! Now trust me when I say this, I got very spoiled at Phil Smart in Seattle. Mr. Smart, (RIP) we called him «Senior» was the epitome of a rags to riches business owner. There was a period of time where we would dine together twice a month. I would get the back story of everything Mercedes Benz. I trusted Senior and the staff at Phil Smart Mercedes Benz for repairing my car.
Although Dynamic Performance is not a Benz dealership repair facility. They run it like one! Everything by the book to exacting standards. I brought my 240 in and was describing the shimmy and squeal on my front brakes. Michael and his team quickly performed their diagnostic and came back with 3 imperative repairs. I know that I saved easily 35% off of the dealer’s price for the same work. Mind you, any repair on a Benz or Bimmer is going to be pricey. I know that I saved $ 9 Benjamin’s by getting my repair at Dynamic Performance! Thanks guys for a great job. And — big über thanks for the free loaner car!

Great service. Review is late, but I wanted to ensure that everything ran well in my Benz. Everything is spectacular. Great price, great service. Will be taking my Benz in again when I need to and will be bringing my wife’s in soon.

I’ve been taking my BMW to them since 2007. They are cheaper than the dealer and the service has always been great.

I just took my late model Mercedes in for service, the prices at the dealer were almost double for the same service. They were accurate, fast, courteous. I’ll continue to go back.

made the service on my 2010 MB E350 a breeze. brought it in in the morning, picked it up after work. No upsell, friendly staff, and straightforward pricing. Got my service done for $ 99 vs. the $ 300+ that the dealer wanted. Sold that car, but now shopping for a new Benz and will only go to these guys for any service. Hard to find honest and straightforward businesses in this line of work, and these guys are a rare find. Highly recommended.

Dynamic Performance always does good work and treated us honestly. We have paid direct and under 3^rd party warranty and in either case — the guys have always been fair and insured the car is running well and safe to go. From simplest to most difficult repairs, we’ve been satisfied with their work.

I was starting to think I might need to stuff my pants with a sock and look like a well hung man before going to the mechanic being a girl but the guys at this shop changed all that for me. I have a gold digging car that knows nothing but spend my hard earned $$$ until I took the car to them. Everytime Ive gone to a shop I would end up spending more than a grand. I dont have an issue paying for what needs to be done if the issue gets fixed. I went to this place in culver and spent 3grand on a lifter noise that didnt get fixed and Ben from the shop just fixed the issue w a 10 dollar can of seafoam. Im not saying that all repairs have an inexpensive solution but the guys here will work to find you the most cost efficient effective fix. They’re pros and are a bunch of honest guys. No sock in the pants needed for the ladies visiting here unless youre into that kind of thing.

As a woman, and not a techie person, I am always concerned that I will be overcharged. Not at Dynamic Performance. i have been taking my Benz E320 there for 2 years; they charge far less than a dealer repair shop would. My sons have reviewed my bills and said they were fair. Mike and Richard are gentlemen; the mechanics are all gentlemen.
If my warning lights glare a message on the freeway, I pull in and BAMM! they take care of everything. When my car was hit while parked and I had an issue with AAA insurance, they made the resolution easier for me and the body work was great.
I really appreciate this excellent service right here in MB.

I do not write reviews usually, but it’s been a year of experience with my c300 and this place has great customer and car services! Charge decent and fair for the work well done!

They really know how to work on vehicles. Miran, changed my ball bearings in under an hour.
The shop owners son really knows how to get things done, in a timely fashion.
Cheaper than the dealer and twice as fast. The end.

These guys are great. Very easy to deal with. A neighborhood feel in a larger city. Always give me options and best/​worst case scenarios.
I have taken a Mercedes and Lexus in for several things and I always get treated right.

Well… they robo-​emailed me to «help with Unilocal» so here you go:
As part of the first service, they replaced the ball joints and DIDN’T DO AN ALIGNMENT. The car was aligned before I took it there (I’d had new tires put on the back) and was pulling to left after the service. Took it to Firestone and it was way out of whack.
They gave me an estimate of when the car would be done, then never called when it was finished.
In total, I spent $ 877 OVER the retail price for parts on the 2 times I took it there for service.
I got ripped off… don’t follow my lead.

The guys at Dynamic Performance go above and beyond. They are great at diagnosing and fixing my Mercedes-​Benz issues. then explaining what and why it was done. We really appreciate their commitment to excellence.

These guys are the BEST. Fair prices with quality work. It hard to find these days. But it is done here! I will not go anywhere else!

Being a gear head myself, I really appreciate a shop that knows what their doing. I’ve taken my S600 there and the wifes GL550. They are half the price of any dealer, and faster. Some times by the time I get to the office they call and say it’s ready. I couldn’t appreciate them enough.

I’ve brought my car here a few times, and never left unhappy. However the last time I was here it was for a friends car I referred to Dynamic, and it was the best experience yet.
I had explained the diagnostics we already went through when calling to set up an appointment. We ran into a glitch in resolving the issue I called Dynamic to help. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix my friends car, and the price was VERY wallet friendly.
Add to that the friendliness of their staff, and you’ve got a shop you can feel good about.
I’m excited to finally have found a shop in the southbay that not only knows what they’re doing, but will not rip you off in the process. That’s how you get loyal, long term customers!
