North Shore Auto & Towing

Went here to have my car serviced and inspected last month. I had previously driven by and noticed the building but did not know anyone who had been. The owner, Randy, personally helped me as there were many other customers present at the same time. Randy and his staff were very kind. Trevor was a good man to chat with. They quickly gave me a quote, and helped me immediately. Would highly recommend their A+ service and will use for all my auto body needs going forward.

I was in the process of getting a couple of estimates for my Husband’s car for some very minor damage to a back door (a small dent on a back door, toward the bottom part of the door). The guy helping me looks at it for all of 5 seconds and says something to the extent of «there’s no way this can be repaired; the entire door needs to be replaced.» I was thinking, get out of town, are you seeing the same thing I’m seeing? A small dent can’t be repaired? The quote was a ridiculous amount, and the guy, pushing the knife in deeper, says something like «this is the preliminary estimate, we never know if something is damaged on the inside of the door.» I know nothing of auto body repair, but please don’t treat me as if I’m dumb as rocks! The second place I go to made me feel completely at ease and they were completely professional! They are a very reputable body shop that said it could be repaired (obviously). The estimate was for one third of the first quote from North Shore. So many crooks out there, it’s unbelievable! Some people want to earn money, and some just want to take it!

if i can give a negative star i would. The tow truck drivers are rude and the manager does not care about anything. I was stuck on the side of the road right in front of this place and when i asked the tow truck driver to help me out he told me i cannot afford his rates. Then when i finally pushed the car onto the driveway of this place he told me to get the f off the property and if i don’t move the car (which was not blocking anything) he will impound the car. as a business owner myself i tried to contact the manager to straighten the situation out. the manager did not want to take my calls after several attempts on calling him he returned my phone call to tell me he will find out what happened. and i never heard back from anyone. i do not recommend going to this facility at all.

They do great work! I brought my Audi S4 to North Shore to fix my front bumper & service a few mechanical problems (mostly maintenance). The customer service was excellent, but the work was better. My S4 drives like a dream again, and looks brand new. Highly recommended shop.

Excellent customer service. I recently had a small fender bender in my brand new Porsche Cayenne. They repaired the issue perfectly, and finished the job under our scheduled pickup time. The price was also much cheaper than a competitors quote. Highly recommended.

great service! have been going here for years. The owner, Randy, is extremely accomodating and the quality of the body work is excellent. The shop has expanded and is huge! They only hire the most skilled employees and Randy always makes sure that you get the best quality service possible. I was recently rear ended in my brand new Audi and it came back as good as a new – Randy even took the time to drop the car off at my house because he knows i have a hectic work schedule. Highly recommend

Their customer service wasn’t great. But maybe I caught them on a bad day. I know these things are very subjective.

Great service! My car broke down and these guys got to me quickly. The price wasn’t too bad too… I think it came out to about $ 150 to tow my car. Overall they were really friendly and I would recommend them if you’re stranded nearby.

Ive been going to this place since 2006 for any accident or auto issues ive been having with my car. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of their work is always top notch. The people that work there are super friendly and any time I needed to have something explained to me in depth, one of the mechanics or the owner, Randy, will go out of their way to make sure I am satisfied.
Also, they are really good with timing, if you need to get your car back quickly they will do their best to accomodate.

Recommend against. Had to call me to find my house /​car AFTER the insurance company provided it & arranged the towing. Had a great deal of difficulty communicating with the driver over the phone. When he arrived, he declined to take the car since he had not been paid yet, even though this was, again, arranged via the insurance company. In sum, they did not do what they contracted to do, and were difficult to communicate with.
