We specialize in custom weddings and large events. Each event is created from start to finish taking into consideration all of our clients visions, location needs, and budget. History

Established in 1990.

The Moveable Feast has built a reputation for high quality food, service and presentation over the 24 years. With the use of our mobile kitchens we have expanded our services to many unique locations around the state of Michigan. Dan Huntsbarger the owner is a graduate of the prestigious cooking school, the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He has had 2 awarding restaurants that have been recognized in Conde-​Nast Traveler, Bön Appetit, Gourmet Magazine and AAA guide to fine dining. Now he has put together a team of professionals to assist him in making the catering and event planning business his only focus. A strong believer in fresh food, and minimizing waste he has purchased a 42 acre farm and works with other local farmers to provide the freshest possible food available. SASHA farms is a local animal rescue and an outlet for all food prep by-​product. On an annual basis we are able to provide them about 10,000 lbs of food for the animals.

Business Owner

Dan, a 1986 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and his wife Carol have owned two award winning restaurants, Daniel’s On Liberty and Dan’s River Grill. They now devote all of their experience and passion for food to their catering company, «The Moveable Feast Catering.»
