Kelley Street Tailor Shop

Kevin altered my wedding dress and he did an incredible job. We could not have been more satisfied. We have also had dry cleaning done at his shop. Top notch service!

We have been going to this tailor for years now and today he showed us why we go to him. I brought in a duvet cover with a hole in the seam. Without hesitation he did the repair in the spot. This is a great way to start the new year off and to keep us as customers.

I’ve always had good service but I dropped off a pair of pants for hemming and he didn’t even tell me he was not going to be open for a whole week soon so now I don’t have my pants when I thought I would. This is making me rethink going back just because of his lack of common courtesy

I have been using Kelley St Tailor Shop for approximately 15+ years now. Needless to say, that’s a lot of tailoring! My items have always been exactly as I wanted them and always ready on time. I highly recommend this tailor shop.

I tried this place a few months ago for the first time. Kevin (the owner) did a fine job hemming my pants and taking in waists. My only reservation has to do with a dress he shortened by about 3″, but didn’t make the back slit any longer (so it’s just a «tab» instead of a slit). I didn’t notice until I got home, and didn’t bother to take it back in, but it gives me pause. I’ll try a different place next because of this and it’s just a difficult location for me.

I brought in a tea length dress to be taken in and brought up to k née length. I picked up the dress without inspecting it in store (big mistake), the wedding was cancelled so I didn’t need it right away. About a month after I picked it up I took it out for the first time and realized that it was still tea length. I tried calling him and calmly resolving my issue with him but he (the owner) blew up and accused me of simply trying to alter the dress again because the wedding was cancelled. He was rude and volatile and completely unwilling to hear anything I had to say right fro the start. The sad thing is me and my freinds have been bringing various jobs to him for many years and now none of us will ever use him again. There’s plenty of good tailors out there. If you go here he might not mess it up, but if he does good luck resolving it with him calmly. This man is a loose cannon.

I was recommended to this place 4 – 5 years back and I’ve grown to love the customer service and the quality of work at Kelley Street. I’ve only had to go for basic dry cleaning and alterations to dress pants. Every alteration was accurate and the hemming was professional. The dry cleaning was perfect every time I go.
This is on the West side of Manchester… near CMC. This is about a twenty minute drive from where I live and I know there are dry cleaning and tailor shops between Kelley Street and my house, but you can’t find the same level of quality and care in clothing as the people at Kelley Street.
