I love their food! But damn their steak salad was ridiculous. But maybe I was wrong because I may have been thinking ‘steak tip salad! Shame on you Annulas’!

I tried this place out because it’s within walking distance of my house and looked like a friendly local spot from the outside. Sure enough, mom and pop were running the place all themselves, and the large sausage and pepper pie I ordered was tasty. Additionally, the price point was a bit lower than other spots. I’ll certainly order from here again. I’m curious to try their lamb dinner, too.

As a native Rhode Islander, my taste in pizza is quite picky. But from the moment I had Annula’s pizza after I moved to Manchester, I knew my taste buds would be satisfied. I always get my usual: Large pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni. The owners are very nice and charismatic. As long as I live in Manchester, Annula’s will be my only pizza pit-stop

Tried Annula’s today for the first time since moving into the neighborhood a couple months ago. Food was excellent and everyone was very friendly! This is my new go-to place for Greek style pizza and such!

Best lamb dinner, we sometimes miss out because lamb dinner is served every Thursday and always sells out. Today we got lucky and reserved two dinners, the last two left! The owners are super nice too, nice family run business that I love to support.

5 Star Calzones!!! I was first introduced to the best calzones ever in 1997 and haven’t had a better calzone since! I was ordering from Annula’s religiously when I lived in Manchester. I must have ate from Annula’s at least 50 times back in the day. That sounds like an exaggeration, but its not! Since 2006 I have moved away, but Annula’s is the first craving I fulfill whenever I get back to Manchester. As a matter of fact I was just there Labor Day weekend; I drove(750 miles) up for a weekend visit, I checked into the hotel I stay at, and then I got right back into the car and headed for Annula’s! I already know what I’m going to order, a menu is never necessary — for me, it’s always the #7 Calzone! It’s a very simple combination of Spinach, Onion, Cheese, and Greek Magic! I don’t know what they do to make this calzone so special. I love the flavor combination so anytime I want a calzone I give a variety of pizzeria’s the opportunity to make me that same calzone(Spinach, Onion, and Cheese), and some places do a good job — but none will ever resemble the calzone YOU can get from Annula’s! I will be back next year Annula’s! If you’re a calzone fanatic, try one from Annula’s, you will not be disappointed.

When the brother cooks it’s the worst food in the world. If the sister cooks the food is excellent.

The food is quite decent, lots of options, and you definitely won’t go hungry with the portions. If you want delivery, it’s worth calling well in advance. Vegetarians will have plenty to choose from.

We are new to the neighborhood, and wanted to find a «go-to» pizza/sandwich/salad restaurant. We tried Annula’s. The place is adorable… very quaint and comfortable. The service was very friendly. We ordered an Italian sandwich and a Greek salad. The sandwich was delicious, and the bread was very fresh. The salad was huge and also very tasty. A lot of bang for your buck… this ended up being two meals for us. Not typically a fan of Greek style pizza, but I will definitely give Annula’s a shot.

Thanks to Annula’s, my tastebuds want an annulment. This was the worst pizza I have had in my whole life. And that includes pizza I once had in Montréal that made me ill and caused me to have to register with the CDC for a rare form of food poisoning. That at least tasted marginal, but this was really bad. Wicked bad. I only hope it kills me to keep me from eating it again by accident. For starters it was too salty and it was overcooked. The crust was thick, dry, spongy and lacked the chewiness pizza should have. Normally I can put down four to five slices of even pizza I term«bad,» but I couldn’t get beyond 2 slices of this. The old adage” that pizza is like sex, even when it’s bad it’s good — you’re getting some,” does NOT apply here. I can’t imagine how this got Best Pizza over Pizza Market, Pappy’s, Ceasarios, Ally Cat(which I don’t even like, but it’s still better) or even Dominos’ discards. I am horrified that so many people Unilocaled this was good. I am so disappointed. Maybe it’s gone downhill fast and I caught it at rock bottom? Who knows. Don’t eat this though. It might make you cry. And the chicken wings tasted like roadkill. But that’s the least of my worries.

I stumbled upon this place yesterday while working in Manchester and I couldn’t have been happier. I had the turkey sub and the bread was AMAZING! I don’t even like bread that much, but I know this stuff was A+! The service was quick and attentive and they even brought the subs out on regular plates! It was awesome. If I’m ever in the area again, I’m stopping by!

Located on the southeast corner of Chestnut Street & Pearl Street, Annula’s Pizza serves up pizza, calzones, subs, burgers, sandwiches, salads, Italian dishes, Greek items(spinach pie, baklava, gyro, kabob), fried seafood(clam strips, haddock, scallops), fried appetizers, ice cream bars, and Coke products(from the cooler). Signature products for sale include Annula’s Root Beer bottles and Annula’s Chocolate Bars. The prices here are very reasonable with most items less than $ 10. The Fried Scallops Dinner & Fisherman’s Platter are $ 12.95. Pizza specials and daily specials(baked lamb on Thursdays) are offered. It’s an order at the counter place with a small dining area, air conditioned for comfort. Went here for lunch with my boss. I had a Turkey Club & Fries($ 6.95), which was a triple decker turkey BLT with mayo & toasted bread, a good sandwich. The Steak Fries were excellent and fried golden brown to perfection & unsalted. My boss started out with a Greek Salad($ 6.95), a good entrée size portion with large flat pieces of Feta cheese & Greek olives. For lunch, the Gyro Pita with Fries($ 6.25) had marinated pieces of meat, onions, tomato, & yogurt stuffed into a thick flatbread, which was very good. We packed up much of the food in a takeout box for dinner later on. NOTES: Metered parking on Chestnut Street(one way southbound) and limited parking on Pearl Street(one way eastbound).
