I wanted to replace a gas log fireplace that was installed incorrectly by a prior owner, so I called Williams because of their reputation. I never got past the receptionist — she wanted to tell me everything she thought I should do to fix the problem and wouldn’t accept that I’ve been dealing with this for three winters and just wanted to replace it. I never even had the chance to bring up that we also wanted them to run the piping for a new built-in outdoor grill. I was done once she told me to climb into the fireplace and take pictures up into the chimney.

I have used Williams Services for 13 years. I have always found them reliable and efficient. .Tracy services my gas logs every year and has successfully managed to keep an old gas fire going. I have never been pressurized to upgrade and Tracy truly understands that it is important to keep costs down .No one is allowed to switch the fire on until Williams’ service inspect it and tells me it is ok

Tried to get them to come out to service my gas fireplace. Although the technicians might have been fine, I never got that far. I got totally exhausted with the phone person who just kept insisting that my fireplace blew out when it was on(it didn’t, the problem is that the pilot won’t stay lit). The last straw was when the person got all upset about whether or not any other company had serviced the fireplace. Not sure that should matter, and as I tried to explain, not really. We had a technician deliver a new remote years ago because the store sold us the wrong one. While he was here, he installed it. That was literally years ago. No thanks. I will take my business(money) elsewhere.
