This place is a hidden gem. Anna is fantastic with everything she does and definitely a color expert! I originally went here about a year ago with a groupon and will forever go here as long as Anna is a stylist here she always knows what to do with my hair at each visit. I sit dow she ask what are we gonna do I put her in charge each time without a doubt in my mind and each time I am very pleased with the results! The prices are fantastic for this area so keep that in mind when u don’t have a groupon it’s really not necessary.
I would give 5 stars but I try to be a little conservative. I will say one thing the waiting area needs better seating, get rid of that futon style item & put some individual chairs or something not so used.

I don’t even know where to start… First off coming into the salon wasn’t very welcoming. You have the little area where there is a waiting area & you had the people that worked there sitting & conducting business there. One of the ladies gave me a little roller chair they would use to sit in doing pedicures. Ok, cool… I’m not picky where I sit. Well, moving forward the lady finally called me to the chair to start my hair appointment. By the way I found this place via groupon because I’m fairly new & needed my hair done. She took my hair down & she proceeded to say «oh, your groupon would not be good because your hair is too long.» ok… First off you smell like alcohol and so does your friend next to you so I will gladly leave because I wouldn’t trust you doing anything to my hair anyway. Bottom line, horrible customer service and just really not a decent way to run a business.

Everyone was friendly, experienced, flexible with timing and pampered me. I will definitely be coming back here for waxing, hair, and nails. I’m excited to try the facials and massages too.

This is my second review of this salon as I feel like I really need to follow up on the good positve review I gave after my fist visit in which I used a groupon so there was no issue with price. The second time I expected to pay $ 50 but was charged $ 60 so I asked them what the price for my third visit would be when I made the appointment and even had the owner to write it down. However, last week when I had my third appt. I was charged $ 110. When I questioned the owner, she argued with me stating that I had addional color applied to my roots… Again, At my second appt I had asked «Anna» the stylist what I would need the next time and how much it would cost and both her and the owner agreed they would charge $ 75 for the next time to maintain my hair. Misunderstanding don’t happen twice for me so I will not be back nor would I recomend the salon to others.

Needed a haircut and color fast and they were able to get me right in. Anna looked at a picture that I showed her and was right on with the picture. The color was perfect and the cut was awesome. Would highly suggest her for your future cut and color. Will be going here again! Thanks Anna for such a great hairstyle, my family loved it!!!

STAY FAR AWAY! I made a reservation for last Saturday at 1:00pm. I showed up at 1:00 for my appointment and was told that they would be right with me. I sat until 1:45pm until a hairstylist named Ana said she would be right with me. A 45 minute wait for an appointment is ridiculous. Upon being seated she advised me that I would be charged additional for longer hair. I understood, however did not ask how much. I then was asked what I would like done. I showed her a picture. She glanced at it and then grabbed her supplies. She didn’t ask me a color specifically or anything. She started foiling my long hair which normally takes 45mins-​1hr. She got on the phone telling another customer that they could drop off their daughter to get her hair done and would be able to start her hair in 15 mins. She completed my normal 45mins-​1 hr foil in 15 minutes. She didn’t take any pride in her work and quickly foiled my hair. The foils didn’t hit my head and now my highlights look like they are 3 weeks old with hair growth. I was sat down under the heater and another customer showed up to get hair foiled. So she was doing both our hair at the same time (never happened to me before, and made me feel like I was unimportant because I was a «groupon» customer and not a normal client). She repeated comments regarding how I was a groupon customer and that she still needed to do her normal clients hair too. I sat under the heater for 25 minutes without be checked on. I actually felt like my hair was burning at one moment and had to move out from under the heater on my own. I then was taken to get my hair shampooed by another girl. While getting my hair shampooed not once did Ana come and check on us. She was currently foiling another hair and getting her under the dryer. Then she grabbed me to cut my hair. She asked how much to take off and I told her a trim. She proceeded to cut 1.5 in of hair off. Way more than I had asked her. In the middle of my blow dry she left me to go answer a phone call for 15 minutes. While this was taking place 2 more clients showed up for appointments with Ana. As well as the other foil who was now getting her hair shampooed by another girl. When she showed back up she preceded to ask the girl to call her mother and let her know she could come by to get her hair done. So I was getting my hair dried, she had another client waiting for her hair to be dried plus asked her mother come and also had 2 other clients waiting for her. Ridiculous customer service, absolute nonsense and I would never go back. I was clenching my jaw and fingers so much I just wanted to get out of there. When she finished blow drying my hair she didn’t even thanks or anything just showed me where to go pay. In addition, I paid $ 40 extra for long hair on top of the groupon which was $ 65. The girl told me not to buy the groupon because they would just honor the price anyways if you mentioned it when you came in. I didn’t save any money by buying the groupon cause they charged me the normal price anyways by adding the $ 40 on. Secondly, they treat «groupon» clients horribly in comparison to their normal clients and don’t give any scense of importance. They actually make comments about being a groupon client. I feel like groupon is the way to go when you are trying to save some money but it should be in no way a compensation for getting poor customer service. I will never go back and I want others to know since a groupon is still being offered for this particular location. I buy groupons a lot and this is first one that I felt disgusted over buying and cheated. I was greatly disappointed in what I purchased.

DO NOT GO HERE. I drove almost an hour and a half to come here with a groupon because the price was good, and it was a huge waste of time and gas. The lady who was suppose to do my hair told me she was going to charge me an extra $ 40 because my hair was long… How do you validate almost doubling the groupon price once you get customers in the door? She then told me that she couldn’t do what I wanted her to with my hair — didn’t say it would cost more, just that she couldn’t do it. I honestly have never had someone be so rude to me as a customer. I left and contacted Groupon for a refund. I will not be paying an extra $ 40 for them to honor the groupon and still not get what I want. I think her name is Anna — stay away, she was seriously lacking in customer service skills and extremely rude. Don’t buy the groupon… They won’t let you use it without almost doubling the cost.

I went in with long all one length hair, asking to return to my natural color and lowlights. Anna suggested a slight trim to add volume. She COMPLETELY botched my hair, leaving me with scissor marks and ugly step lines, as if she forgot to blend in and finish, and removing 6 inches in the front. After discussing with the (hard to reach) owner, who promised to fix my hair herself and offered a facial to relax me when I came back, I was kept waiting several hours until another stylist could be called in for damage control. 3 hours later, (and she forgot about my promised facial), my hair was now 8 inches shorter to blend and hide the mistakes. It will take me a year to grow it out again. The owner was getting a pedicure and didn’t want to hear it. She Ignored my request for a refund. Although Carmen worked her amazing magic to fix the hair wreck, I left almost in tears/​extremely upset. I called American Express to file a Complaint and got the refund.

This is a nice family owned business and was formerly known as Dream Salon and spa ! I have been using the various services offered here and am extremely satisfied with the quality and professionalism!
I have done eye brow threading and really like the efficient way ! It costs much less than the once in the mall. I like the waxing, facials and massages offered here.
The massages here are my favorite and even though price is same as anywhere else, I think the quality of massage is also much better than most places that charge way less.
In August they had a promotion and I got haircut and highlights at a very reasonable price and they have a specialist for hair cut and color. I gave them 5 stars as I think it’s really good compared to most I have been!

Okay. I went for my second Groupon redemption and since my last visit. I decided to «walk-​in» instead of make an appointment since the last one crashed and burned. I walk in and there are ladies sitting up on the thrones and the owner said they are booked for the day. Another lady said that she would call me to make an appointment and she gave me her card, I gave her my number, but was never called. After 10 days, I called to see if I could go in on my way home from work and it was fine. I was called later that day and said that there was a cancellation and I could come in, but I had to work and would try. I get there and it’s too quiet in there. There is no music or tv. The staff ends up staring at you while your trying to relax. Everyone is nice and the place is newly rennovated with spa rooms and furniture. It just seems like a restaurant turned salon to me. I brought my own expensive polish and I ended up not liking how slow it was drying. When one nail was corrected, she plopped the polish into her table top polish display nestled with the others instead of next to my hand. I acted like I didn’t notice and when I was about to leave, I mentioned that I was going to get my polish. Another staff member helped me get it and they both mentioned that she wasn’t planning to keep it. It was just an enough uncomfortable to experience that I don’t want to continue putting myself through. It’s the fourth salon-​type place I’ve been to in Manassas that there’s little to no music and the staff hangs around watching. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, I don’t know. So I’ll be venturing outside of city limits.

First, this place is super bare-​bones. No place to hang your coat, no magazines, no paper towels in the bathroom, no cups by the water cooler, and no pedicure dryer.
I had a Groupon for a spa mani-​pedi, and the pedicure ranked in the bottom ¼ of normal pedicures that I have received. She didn’t even trim my nails or cuticles. The final result looked like I had done it myself in a hurry.
The manicure looked professional and she seemed to cover all the usual steps. I wonder what their normal manicures and pedicures are like if these are their spa versions. I won’t return.

I purchased a groupon here for a mani-​pedi. It not a very good location to attract customers. Kind of hidden. When I went i was early since i was trying to beat the traffic. There were only two people there — one was a receptionist i guess and the other is the person that does the mani-​pedi. I had to wait about an hour and after that, when she was doing my pedi, she told me that her throat was itchy when she woke up this morning! GROSS! My feet were smooth and she took her time but i didnt finish my mani — i just made an excuse that i had to leave. id rather have untidy toes than a freaking flu!!!

I thought the ladies here were quite friendly and welcoming. The biggest thing, besides having a great shellac mani and a pedi, was the fact they all spoke great English. It is really hard to find a nail place where you can let the person know exactly what you want and they know what you are saying and can give you feedback. While they did from time to time speak in another language, they would switch back to English so they could include me in their conversation. I never felt left out or awkward like I can at a lot of other places when they are holding conversations the whole time in a language I dont understand.
Like the previous review, there are no bells and whistles here but Amber did an awesome job and was very attentive to detail. I will DEFINITELY be going back!

I used a groupon… so the money way not an issue @ $ 25.00. The website is a little misleading does not ever hint at how teeny this place is and bare bones… spa chairs two mani chairs and a hair chair (and wash).
The woman Amber did a nice job on my mani and pedi but it was awkward that her son was running around. She kept on asking him if he needed to potty etc. The pedi chairs seem to be second hand and past there prime. The mani was disappointing in that my hands were briefly dipped in an itty bitty plastic dish… eww.
I left a nice tip, but will not be back.

I’m going to give five stars b/​c it has been hard finding a nail salon that does such great manicures and pedicures. The nail technician (if that is what you call them) was personable and friendly. My nails still look amazing after about a week and I did not get shellac. There are two stations for manicures and two stations for pedicures… so you’re not going to feel rushed.
When I initially walked into the Spa, an employee was laying down on a couch (not my nail technician). Not the best first impression, in fact I contemplated leaving. However, I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and was happily surprised. I’ll definitely go back and suggest Dream Spa and Salon to my friends.

I called around 1:30 PM on Wednesday for a eyebrow thread, pedi and mani. The lady told me to come in at 5:30 and took all of my information. I get to the salon 10 minutes early and they tell me I did not have an appointment. I understand places overbook themselves and it would not have been an issue except the owner was so RUDE. She was doing a pedicure and proceeded to argue with me about calling the right place and what not right in front of customers. I showed her when I had called and she told me I would have to wait another hour to be helped. Again, I would have been fine had she not been so combative and rude. I allowed the young lady behind the desk to do my thread for me while I waited. She did an amazing job of it too, then I sat in the small waiting area. The lady AGAIN starts badgering me about the appointment time and kept asking me «are you sure?», «i think you did not book it»
I got up, paid for my threading and left.
Maybe this place would not have scheduling issues if they did not rely on a little hand written composition book to track everything. Try a daily planner or an excel spreadsheet people.
Due to my experience even though the lady did a great job on my eyebrows I will not be back.

This is a nice small family-​owned business. The atmosphere is very chill and casual. It’s not a big place but they seem to offer everything (mani/​pedi, haircuts/​highlights, eyebrow threading, facials, waxing AND EVEN MEHNDI). I’ve only gotten mani/​pedi and threading while there though so I will only speak based on those experiences.
First off, they charge $ 8 for threading which I find to be a great rate compared to the normal $ 15ish that everyone else seem to charge… and they also did a better job than all the other places that I’ve been to!!! For nails, they have the new shellac if you are interested (it’s the nail polish that lasts like 3 weeks)…beware they do charge ($ 15?) more for that though.
The reason I deduct one star from the rating is because the owner messed up my appointment schedule. She then tried to fit me in by offering to do my pedi while I wait for the other employee to finish with her client. Though I appreciate that she tried to accommodate me, she didn’t do a very good job. She was also not very professional and kept interrupting my pedi session to answer the telephone. (Oh, and let me add this place is very good with picking up their phone!) I do like that she tried to accommodate my requests with the nail clippings and foot scrub while other places would probably charge me a fee for those requests.
I strongly recommend making appointment before you show up because they are short staffed. I only saw 3 people (including the owner) working while I was there. I also highly recommend Amber for your services. She is very nice/​down to earth and did a great job on my nails and eyebrows.
DEFINITELY GO HERE FOR YOUR EYEBROW THREADING. BEST PLACE IN TOWN!
