If you’re going here for a wax, be ready for a lot of pain and emptying your wallet.
I went here on a whim to get my legs waxed and underarms. They were busy when I went but it doesn’t mean you should get a rushed service. The woman who was taking care of me rushed through the entire process. In between the procedure, she kept leaving the room to go answer phone calls. When she was doing my underarms and she couldn’t get everything off, she used tweezers for the rest. Instead of pulling the root of the hair, she pinched my skin multiple times. Man oh man did that hurt!
To top it off, they charged me $ 50 for full legs and $ 25 for underarms.
A complete waste of money for poor service.

Love this place. Affordable. Not a long wait. Nice people. Got a mani and pedi today for an early birthday present. So glad I did! My feet haven’t been this soft in forever! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this place. I walked in yesterday (Sunday) at around 2:30 pm and was immediately greeted. I told them what i wanted (full set gel), picked my color and was seated promptly. Before getting in to specifics about the services, i wanted to comment on how nice the shop was. It looked very peaceful and was really quiet and relaxing. I also want to note that upon sitting down, there is a friendly little sign at each station asking for patrons to be quiet as to not disturb other patrons (love this).
My tech was Thy and she was awesome! She made sure she knew exactly what i was looking for and got right to work. She was really nice and friendly and made small talk. She was also efficient, i was in the shop for just under and hour.
My favorite part of getting my nails done is getting designs. I usually ask for a design and let the tech just freehand whatever they can think of. Sometimes this works out for the best and sometime it doesn’t. I couldn’t have been any happier with my design from Thy. I chose a neutral color for my nails, so she went super colorful with my design and i love them.
I’m really really happy that i decided to give them a try. I think i found my new salon!

The worst gel manicure I’ve ever had. The nail tech appeared to be racing with the tech next to me. As part of her race to get me out of there, she did not have me wash my hands, resulting in pricks, waves, and smudges in my nail polish. The color came out completely different than my pedicure, although I picked a matching set. Obviously, this was not the fault of the nail tech, but she was completely disinterested in trying to fix the problem.
While I was there, another woman came in, was seated at a pedicure station, and was left, without being told if/​when someone would be with her. She finally got fed up and left.
I originally wanted an eyebrow wax as well, but after the way she rushed through my mani/​pedi, there was no way I was letting her near my face. So upset that what was supposed to be a relaxing day ended so horribly, and with my nails looking like my toddler did them.

My friend and I went in over lunch when the place was empty for manicures and girl talk. I got a regular manicure; she got gel.
The cuticle trimming and filing were cursory and not well done for either of us. Then they submerged my friend’s hands in acetone rather than wrapping the nails with acetone cotton balls and foil. Then they alternated scraping the nails and leaving grooves with a metal tool and drenching the nails in acetone. My friend’s nails are going to be in terrible shape when that gel polish wears off. Moreover, it HURT her. There is no need for that level of deep scraping and dousing the whole hand in acetone. They also charged her $ 2 above the price of the gel manicure for «gel removal.» So she got a hatchet job on her nails and paid $ 2 extra for it.
As for me, after the same cursory poorly done cuticle trimming, another manicurist sat down to give me a really poor hand massage, but that’s better than my friend who didn’t get one at all. Then yet a third manicurist sat down. It is obvious she is new to this trade and does not know what she is doing. It took her 45 minutes to put regular polish on my nails. She kept messing up and trying to cover and patch and fix. My nails look messier than if I had done them myself. Despite letting them dry under lights for 25 minutes, the moment I stepped out of the shop, they smudged and bunched up because there were SO MANY bad mish-​mashed layers of polish on them. My nails look like I painted them myself while drunk.
I immediately took off what was left of the polish when I got home. $ 12 for nothing. I will never go back. I understand that someone might be new, but several more experienced manicurists kept coming by to look over her shoulder and shake their heads. They knew she was doing a poor job and didn’t intervene. It’s just really poor customer service. The attitude of the staff also seemed irritated that we were there at all. I won’t be coming back.

I visited this nail salon in need of some relaxation. Appears to be very clean and decorated nicely. I went in and was helped almost right away. During my service I felt as though things were a little bit «rushed» since it was a busy day for the salon. Services are a little pricey. Be sure to print out any coupons that you may have (you can’t just show them on your phone). However, the staff was friendly and for the most part met my needs. My nails also looked great.

Very nice salon in appearance and clean but very expensive. I was told $ 48 on the phone then at register it was $ 64!!! Three dollars for this three dollars for that that’s where they get you! I have been getting my nails done for 25 years and now all of a sudden there’s two different types of powder one is $ 10 more which they should ask you when your doing your nails! I mean seriously how much extra labor is it to shorten your nails especially when they do it with the drill like most do what they want to charge you three dollars extra for that anyway I will never go back I will say that my technician Lynn was excellent but $ 75 every two weeks for nails is not worth it I will travel to my old nail salon

If I could give it half a star I would. They told us 20 minutes and we waited close to an HOUR & ½ before even one of us even started. Me and my friend got here at 3:03 and they time now is 5pm. I have never been to a slower or more incompetent staff before in my life. If you have all day, by all means come to this place. If your not a fan of extra charges and incompetence, go somewhere else

First time I’ve ever gotten my nails done I got them nails done here. The service is great and they’re so friendly! My nails were hella on fleek too, would definitely come again.

The reason I gave two stars in my previous post was because of how good my nails looked. (Reminder: I got a powder gel full set). Two days later they began to fall off. Never in my life have I had GEL nails fall off in such a short time period. Will never go back here.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone is so sweet and friendly! Anna does my nails and she always does such an awesome job! I’m very picky with my nails too and she has never disappointed me! Absolutely recommend this place and see Anna!!!

This is my favorite place in Manassas to get my nails done at. Can’t beat their prices for their mani and pedi package. Best part about this place is that there is never a long wait. My only recommendation is that they extend their hours so that they are open later for us night owls.

The atmosphere is very welcoming. Very clean facility and the staff is very attentive and friendly, the owner is very nice and super pretty, she is very welcoming and spirited to anyone that walks in the store. I always get my nails and eyebrows done there, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

Can’t even bring myself to give this place one star, DOESN’T DESERVE THAT! Goodness, where do I begin? Let’s see, I went here for a fill on my gel nails. It was a Friday afternoon, about 145pm. I asked for a French tip. Found out that I was charged $ 3 for a crappy cut down. I was 100% unhappy. She didn’t charge me for the French because she wasn’t happy with her work either. I paid $ 28 for a gel refill and cut down. She asked me to stay so she could fix it but at that point it was 325pm and I had to leave to pickup my child. She asked if I’d come back Saturday or Sunday, so I made an appt. with her for Sunday at 1130am. I arrived Sunday about 1120am and she’d just started someone. She approached me and asked what I needed. I said I was here Friday and made an appt. at that time for 1130 today to have you fix what you did Friday. She had forgotten… even though she wrote the info in the appt book… At 1145pm she came over and said she’d be about another 10 minutes. Well, she finally took me at at 1210pm! Apologized and said the other people had been late. Okay, I understand… Let’s get this fixed now. Had her cut them down more since I’d already paid $ 3 and since she tried to get over with that, she needed to cut them down more. She had told me to pick a darker color, I did and that didn’t work to cover up what needed to. So we had to take that color off and try again. I asked her to please be sure to cover the edges, which should be done anyhow… I shouldn’t have to ask! She put the white on, then the gel and it was TERRIBLE! Bubbles, indentions… all kinds of crap! I wasn’t happy and wasn’t leaving. She tried again… SAME THING! I asked her to just leave them with the polish off and refund me money. She said she couldn’t but would make sure I was happy before I left. Well… She went on to redo them about 10 – 12 times. I actually left once and thought they were good… got to the car and sunlight and realized they were STILL AWFUL! Walked back in and she said what happened? I said nothing happened, these suck! She had a client there and handed her off to another employee. She kept insinuating that I somehow was getting the bubbles and waves in the nails. Claimed she couldn’t see what was wrong. I’m not crazy I told her. I arrived there for my 1130am appt @ 1120am and was not walking out of that shoddy establishment until 315pm! YES! Oh and when she remembered that she didn’t charge me for French already, she said she’d have to charge me an additional $ 5 for that. Otherwise she’s going to paint the entire nail which I hate! Come to find out, this lady is the owner. Her name is Suzanne. It was the worst customer service I’ve EVER seen! I have her to membership card back and told her I’d NEVER be back again! Funny how they proceeded to talk in their native language… all the while knowing it was about me… lol! Oh BTW, they don’t accept the Unilocal mobile coupon… You have to print that out… So I think she was lying… I thought that was their offer? Anyhow…
I’m sure there’s people that will read this and think man this lady is a bitch, but you pay too much money to be treated terribly and I’m certainly not paying someone to do a half-​assed job!

Got my eyebrows done here since 2010 by the owner. She does a great job at it. All of her employees are very friendly and sociable once you get to know them. I would definitely recommend everyone should come and get there eye brows done, maybe a bit pricey but she does an excellent job at it. The environment is very nice. I can tell the owner not only have the costumers have an excellent service but also making it feel very comforting.

The owner is so awesome! I got my eyebrows done for the first time, was scared but she was very good and skills! Must come here do get anything done! Everyone is super nice!!!

Nicely renovated facilities, same friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and have received great service each time from many different technicians, but Lynn is my favorite! She has a lot of clients, so an appointment is recommended. Good value, quality services with attention to detail consistently provided. Oh, and there’s plenty of convenient parking too!

I originally gave them 5 stars but 4 days later my nails started lifting which many of you May know can cause fungus underneath the acrylic nail… so I went in for a repair and after waiting 30 minutes, saw the same woman. Well long story short, my nails were worse when I left than when I walked in. Tips were uneven and somehow yellow even though they’re originally French tip. Anyways, she didn’t even see me out. She had her coworker check me out and was already gone when I got to the register without even thanking me for coming to see her again. I let the woman who took my payment know that I would never be back again and she apologized for her coworker and offered to fix but I declined. It wasn’t her mistake to fix and I just wanted to leave because I was so irritated. I will be making an appt with a different nail salon to get these nails removed tomorrow. Needless to say, I am disappointed and these nails were not worth the $ 50 I spent at this salon.

Love this place! I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half, usually for the spa pedi. I’ve never been a spa goer, but Amour isn’t really a spa; it’s a nail salon. The nice thing about Amour is that along with nail salon prices ($ 30 for a spa pedi that includes exfoliation, leg massage, hot oil, and hot towel treatment) you get brand-​new massage chairs and a relaxing atmosphere. Over the time I’ve been coming here, Amour has had a full makeover, so if you haven’t been here in six months, you should give it another try. In addition to the new, high-​tech massage chairs, Amour has also repainted and tiled the walls, replaced all of the manicure work stations, and generally updated the décor.
One downside of Amour is that there is a real variability in quality among the nail technicians. A couple of the nail techs are amazing: they give truly attentive service, luxurious massages, and perfect pedis. At least one nail tech should always be avoided because she’s rough on the feet, gives a cursory massage, doesn’t care about your water temp, and always screws something up in the polishing process. Most of the techs are somewhere in the middle, giving decent pedicures and friendly service. It would be nice if management set and enforced clearer standards so that customers didn’t have to awkwardly avoid the bad tech. One simple solution might be for management to give one of the truly stellar techs a raise and promotion to trainer or assistant manager.
I’ve never tried hair services here because I prefer threading, but I do see a lot of customers come in for both a pedi and a brow wax. There appear to be a lot of regulars for waxing, and I take that to be a good sign.

Good service decent prices. Cosmetically not spa environment. They don’t offer drinks or sell any. Eyebrow waxing was rough but very nice shaping.
