Cool little airport just south of Manassas.
Important to note — there are NO commercial flights available in and out of this Airport. So, if you are flying from Regional Airport to Regional Airport as Lisa R. mentions — it will be because you either own your own plane — OR you are chartering private flights from Regional Airport to Regional Airport.
Hoppy’s Skytop Lounge used to be located at Manassas Regional Airport. It was a fun and cool place to grab breakfast, lunch, or a drink and watch the planes take off and land. Unfortunately, some company came in and bought out their lease, kicked them out, and turned the space into offices for their company.

great to fly out of and travel from regional airport to regional airport. downside? since this airport is closer to DC than many others, there are tighter air restrictions. It doesn’t completely ruin the flying experience, just something that may be a bit different.
since this is a regional airport there are no screeners, no checked baggage, etc.
