This is not the REAL Maid in Virginia. The Real Maid in Virginia is in Ashburn owned and operated by Libby Kinstle. They are A-​rated on Angie’s List and HomeAdvisor and never did a Living Social Deal. (703−723−5199)
This other company, «Maid in Virginia LLC», assumed the existing company’s name and logo colors. The State sent them a Cease and Desist letter so they took down their website.
Anyway, the Real Maid in Virginia is fantastic. I have used them since 2010 every 2 weeks. I get they same 2 ladies almost every time and they really care about me, my home and are very freidnly and communicative. They leave a service record after every visit.
Once, they broke this small clay pot in my window sill. When I came home, the pot was on the kitchen counter with a note, an apology and an offer to replace it. That is why I stay with Libby and her team of ladies with Maid in Virginia. (

I have used the original Maid in Virginia for 5+ years and they are WONDERFUL.
They only serve the Ashburn and Leesburg areas.

Wow. After a nice conversation on the phone with Sandy and the great reviews I read when purchasing my Living Social deal, I expected a great experience. NOT A NO SHOW. Just as Tuan P. and Anna K. said in their reviews (which I see happened within a week of my experience), their website is no longer working. Took time off work to meet the cleaner and received NO PHONE CALL. Just didn’t show up. I’m furious. Spare yourself the trouble. This is an unacceptable way of doing business. I have a very important guest coming this week (my MOM) and wanted a professional level cleaning. Now — being very pregnant and tired — I’ll be scrambling to do it all myself. Thanks for the deal, Maid in Virginia.

I had the same experience as the reviewer Anna above, scheduled it well in advance only to be canceled by them on short notice first. Then on the rescheduled date, no show. Their website is no longer working, and leaving messages on their voicemail is pointless as they never call you back. Seems like a very small, not well run operation.

The service was mediocre at best. The house simply did not get that clean, and not worth the price. I’ve had several different cleaners in the past and wanted to give this group a shot, and was disappointed. They did not leave me with the «wow, the house feels great now» feeling as others had I feel like I could have cleaned this myself and saved myself the cash. They even complained that the bath could not be cleaned. The next company I used for everything right back to good as new. Do not use this service company. They left without even saying goodbye. I am glad I didn’t tip.

I have used Made in Virginia before a couple of times. Sandra was wonderful! Every time they come in and clean they go above and beyond. They have even done the dishes in my sink which they clearly stated they don’t do on their website. I couldn’t thank them more! I referred them to my parents and my brother. I would definitely suggest them to anyone looking for housekeeping.

VERY reasonable pricing, and great work! Love that there is no «minimum» job size, as sometimes we just want to get certain rooms cleaned. It’s one fixed price, per room, not matter how many rooms!

I contacted Maid in Virginia, LLC for my move out cleaning of my apt and I could not have asked for better service. The manager was very informative. Sandy came to clean and she was wonderful. I wasn’t exactly organized and she went above and beyond to not only clean but helped me organize what I had failed to do before she came. When she left the apt was spotless. I will be requesting her services at my new home. Highly recommend if you want quality cleaning at an EXTREMELY reasonable rate.
