Food, service, selection all Top Notch. The décor was surprisingly really lovely considering that it’s in a sort of non-​descript location. We sat by the window and even though we didn’t cme for football, we didn’t mind at all the noise from the multiple well arranged screens around the bar. If you’re going for a quiet location, this isn’t it, but it’s not loud and smelly either. It’s just right. Loved the bacon stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and burgers. Also loved the great draft list. Our server was great and one of the co-​owners stopped by to make sure we were happy – and we were.
Nice to see cool places pop up all over!

The food is great but the best part is all the beer they have. The service is great fast and people are fun and friendly. I will go back often.

I was there for lunch today lets start with service my waitress didn’t pay any attention to my table asked for a bottle of beer she took so long to get that, and she was having good time with 2 guys setting on next table having there lunch and also they were enjoying the waitress attention I asked for bread I almost finished my lunch when I got the bread
The food was good I orders the pork chop which was great and cooked perfect
And they charge for bread any other restaurant you get free bread I will not go again

So, I have to change my previous review. Went here because of the blizzard; it is in walking distance. Very pleasantly surprised. Total number improvement from last time. Great service! Food was very good. The best part was that the atmosphere was still much more relaxed and friendly. There were several people there, wasn’t too loud. Just a very nice time. This is exactly what I’d wished for when this place opened! Thanks PTR for getting things right. I’ll be back.

Great service, tasty food, and awesome selection of beer! Love the laid-​back atmosphere. Great bar for a casual date night or just a chill spot to hang out with friends. You probably won’t run into NEARLY as much noise-​pollution at PTR than you would from any other bar in the area (which is honestly refreshing in my opinion, too much noise gets old real fast). They also have a very nice fenced-​in back patio!

Wow, you need to check this place out. Claire, our server was awesome and the food amazing. If you have experienced the great dining at CJ Finz this place will not disappoint. Immediately you can tell everything is made from scratch and with quality.

I want to love this place. I really, really do. It could be the perfect neighborhood bar. The potential is there… I think.
BUT the service is mediocre and so is the food. They only have two waitresses and it takes forever for one to greet you once seated and even longer for your drink to arrive once it’s finally ordered.
On the upside, the beer selection is extensive so if you can ignore the bad service this will be pleasing.
If you have kids — skip the kids menu. It is plain insulting. For $ 7 my son got half of a hamburger. Yes, it was literally cooked, cut in half, and then HALF OF IT was served with tons of French fries. The manager checked on us and asked if we needed anything else. I commented on the burger and he just looked at me and walked away. Hhmmm… seems to be a bad service trend here and it starts from the top.
Maybe things will get rolling after they are open for a while. I am very hopeful! We sure do love their sister restaurant, CJ Finz, and hope this place gets it’s act together because having a killer neighborhood restaurant/​bar would be awesome.

I really enjoyed my visit. My raspberry martini was excellent and not lacking on the liquor. I had the BBQ chicken flatbread and it was really good. The fried Oreos for dessert were amazing! As we were getting ready to leave the DJ was starting up and I’d like to go back sometime and see what the late night atmosphere is like.

Only been here a few times, but so far it’s been awesome. The beer selection is pretty good, both draft and bottles/​cans, and the staff I’ve met so far are super friendly. Try the crab dip, it’s delicious!

Awesome place would highly recommend it… It is a huge upgrade from the last place. Great food good music.

Amazing selection of local and regional draft beers. Likewise an awesome atmosphere with great food served by a very energetic staff. Definitely will be back.

First time here, I am going to try the loaded potato soup. There’s a nice crowd starting to form and I love that a DJ will play all my favorite tunes in a moment. I am impressed with the large outdoor seating area, however a little chilly to enjoy that tonight. Come on out and support this family pub.

The beer selection is great and I love everything I have tried on the menu so far. Great place for happy hour after work or an evening out with friends. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the different beer and cocktails. I have been here multiple times since they opened and each time has been a great experience.

I was there two days after it opened to check it out. I looked at their beer options — awesome! I also looked at their food menu, and I saw they had similar items on their menu from when it was Clark’s. The grilled Cesar salad with chicken. It was amazing and I was excited they kept it on the menu. They grill the lettuce! Best smokey salad I ever had. But I just ordered a beer to check out the place and left.
I went back Friday night and ordered the yummy salad, but was told they don’t have it… which was odd. So, I just ordered a regular chicken Cesar salad. It was little, the lettuce was diced up small and hard o eat. Tasted very basic. The chicken wasn’t grilled or fresh and the Cesar dressing overly tasted like mayo. And it was like $ 12. Which is silly for something so basic and cheap.
Beers? They’ve got a great selection. Food? I’m still figuring it out. Definitely won’t order the salad again, waste of money.

Updated review. Tried this place again. Sat outside and enjoyed the variety of beers they offer on draft and bottled. The boom boom shrimp are great, probably the best thing I have eaten there so far. The chef salad was decent. The main thing I liked was the service. Very attentive and friendly wait staff make this place somewhere I will frequent.

Happy to report that we were very happy with our first visit last night. As most of the other reviewers have mentioned the service is excellant. Our server (Cat) was very friendly, attentive and did a nice job handling us along with multiple tables while training another server. We ordered the boom boom shrimp, 2 salads for entrees, several different beers and the dessert special. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is my husband’s Cobb salad was something we could’ve made at home and the dessert ‘special’ pumpkin pie was definitely a store-​bought pit from a grocery store. But the shrimp and my PTR salad with grilled chicken were awesome. The beer selection is also very impressive. We look forward to returning.

Great selection of interesting brews! Loved the beer flight for $ 11. My friend & I sat on the patio and were pleasantly surprised with the renovations since it has been converted from Clarkes! More of a modern southern hipster vibe now & it totally works.
Our service was wonderful & our food was yummy! Ordered 2 apps to share — the boom boom shrimp which was 5 stars & the loaded tater tots which were a HUGE serving that we didn’t finish but definitely enjoyed, 3 stars. We split the steak Mac and cheese and it was one of the best things we had! Definitely not out of a box — unique, cheesy & deliciously flavorful!
We will definitely be back! Thank you for providing better service than we ever got at Clarkes! Happy to see such a neat place back in Manassas.

Excellent craft beer selection (including some on tap you would normally have to drive 1hr+ for in traffic out of Manassas), great food, and good service!
The atmosphere was loud. It’s a bar and loud is fine, after all. The type of music playing in the background was techno-​rave, electronic, beat driven, dance music which is something I’d expect to hear at midnight among drunken 20 somethings rather than a 7pm dinner time vibe. I believe this was customer chosen as there is a modern juke box in the restaurant. Actually I know this because the customer choosing the music was me =)

Can I give it ten? Great food, great atmosphere, great service!!! Thank God they bought the place and revamped it!!! Recommend the stuffed blue cheese mushrooms. Will go again, again, and again!!!
