Food… AMAZING! Service…AMAZING! Everything is AMAZING. My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner. We had never been here before, but always wanted to go. Definitely a great choice! Malones is so good. If you have never been here, then you should definitely go. Try it out. you may like it. no no you’ll love it… heck, I KNOW you’ll love it.

So far, the food has been very good.(The pulled pork is really good for a «non-bbq» joint). Beautiful building, nice layout, really cool staff. Only downside, is that the live music is deafening. That wouldn’t bother me, if all the bands were good, but I have to say, sometimes they book terrible acts. I’m really glad we have a good venue for live bands in Manassas. They just need to be more picky about who they book, and turn it down when they suck. PS: Larry makes a kick ass Old Fashioned

Excellent dining experience. The ambiance was to die for. I’m really big on ambiance and Malone’s nailed it. Not crowded this evening at all. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is we had to send back one of the rib-eyes. We ordered two @ medium and one came out well. Mr Malone(Kevin I believe) brought out the steak and it was medium, juicy and simply delicious. JaVonn our server was simply amazing and very attentive. Overall excellent experience and we will definitely return.

My wife and I went to ‘the church’ upstairs Friday nite. There was a live band playing 80s covers, they were a lot of fun and the patrons were really enjoying the music. The drinks and food were excellent. We had a great time, and will definitely be back.

My guest and I were thrilled with all aspects of our meal. Quality service, tasty bread, smooth wine(no open-bottle-vinegar aftertaste)…and the food? Rich and delicious. Our meal spanned the appetizers(lobster ravioli and beef carpaccio), a rib-eye(with the mushroom reduction), and a chocolate lava cake(along with a cheery Irish coffee) for dessert. This place hit it all with aplomb. If you’re in town, and you have the desire to treat yourself to some finer dining, then this place will suit you just fine.

Hosted a private party in their lower portion of the restaurant. It was a wonderful time and the food was very tasty. It was an afternoon day party with heavy appetizers. Elegant but fun. All the wait staff were attentive. The events coordinator(Mary) was patient and thorough with the planning. Recommend this location for that event that needs a touch of elegance or dinner the food is tasty.

Came here while visiting Virginia for the night. Loved this place. It was an old church that was converted into a bar and restaurant. Such a cool looking place. Restaurant is downstairs and bar is upstairs. There was live music on Saturdays and the vibe was fun and welcoming! They had a good wine selection as well as some signature cocktails. I ordered an old fashion and it was delicious! We sat at the bar in front of the band and had a fabulous evening. Music was great(mostly 90s covers) and bartenders were friendly and attentive. Glad to have stumbled upon this gem!

I took my mom here for a late lunch and we had the place to ourselves. We thought the place looked unique and we’re glad we decided to give it a try. The service was phenomenal and the food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. Our server also made some wine recommendations and was spot-on. What looked like it should have been an expensive meal was actually relatively affordable. Definitely recommend visiting here. They also have live music so check their schedule online before you go.

We moved away from Manassas and we will miss Malones because everything about this place is awesome. The staff is friendly and the food is diverse, well-prepared and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relaxing(try the brisket sandwich), and they have talented bands on the weekends(mostly classic rock from what I saw).

Great atmosphere went there on a Friday nite to listen to live band(Ron hallway) play everything was totally amazing! Friendly staff and very attentive. The place is beautiful renovated d church turned into a very clean and chic restaurant. Only real I don’t give 5 stars cause the good is delicious but pricy for the portions. Lobster stuff ravioli absolutely delicious but you get like 4 small ravioli can’t remember exact price but it was expensive. Also had the chicken delicious! Will surely go back again!

The best meal we’ve had since moving to the area. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. They do a very nice charcuterie board which the husband and I like to enjoy at nicer restaurants. We took our girls with us –and they had children’s menus and crayons for them which is nice in a ‘fancier’ restaurant. My filet was cooked exactly to my preference and my husband’s steak was amazing. One daughter has the shrimp and grits appetizer as her main course and it was great, although maybe next time she would request light sauce. Our server was friendly and talkative. We were too full to enjoy dessert, but we will no doubt be back to enjoy another meal here.

Great place in downtown Manassas. It’s built in an old church, where they made very good use of the basement space for the restaurant, upstairs is the bar. Great menu, good variety of different kinds of meat from steak to chicken, fish and even cornish hens(on special during a recent visit). appetizers and desserts are awesome, and the service is top-notch, which is to be expected for a place in this price range. Great wine selection, good beers, and cocktails. Never had a bad experience and will return whenever I’m in town. 4⁄5 just because it can get a bit pricey.

Came here to buy my family dinner and it happened to be restaurant week! It was a three course meal for the fixed price of $ 35/person. I ordered the spinach and quinoa salad as a starter, then the short rib tagliolini bolognese and ended with the citrus cheesecake. The salad was kind of bland, nothing spectacular. I wished I had gotten the bouillabaisse– the seafood stew. My favorite was the main entrée– loved the flavor of the short rib. Was juicy and cooked perfectly. The tagliolini was a great pasta to complement the rib. Overall, we had great service and the environment is very classy. The prices are steep so get ready to dish out some dough if you come here.

Had a wonderful meal with the wife at Malones a few nights ago. The place was a bit empty but quiet, which I very much like. I had the bouillabaisse to start and all I could say was wow. A bit of spice, well done seafood and creamy broth. My wife had the spinach ravioli and those were delicate and hearty. As my main course I had the short rib pasta, which was good not great. It was a bit heavy on the gravy and a bit light on the pasta, but they nailed the flavor. Wife had the cod with spinach and artichokes and it was good, cooked well and the chipotle sauce was also very good. Dessert lost them a star. Took over 20 minutes for a brownie and cheesecake, in a restaurant less than 20 percent full? The waiter was still good, refilling my coffee and checking on us so it had to be the kitchen. With all that said I believe this is one of the best restaurants in the Manassas area, good ambience and the food is very tasty.

Absolute GEM! This restaurant is in a quaint area of town, and the building is in an old converted church. We opted to sit outside on their spacious, well-lit patio where a man was singing and playing acoustic music beautifully. The drinks were delicious and made with quality liquor and the menu was unique and homey at the same time. I enjoyed an oxtail fettucine dish with homemade pasta, and tender stewed meat. For dessert, I had a slice of delicious lemon cheesecake, which was so rich I was glad I ended up splitting it with friends. Our waitress was wonderfully friendly and attentive, even taking time to take several photos of the group for us.

My husband and I opted not to go into the city to celebrate our anniversary and instead headed west, using Unilocal reviewers as our guide. We’re so thankful we did because we ended up at Malones on a perfect evening to sit outside. We immensely enjoyed everything. Cocktails, carpaccio, blackberry salad, filet, pork chop, lava cake, fried ice cream… Oh and the truffle Mac n cheese, oh my! Best meal in a long time. Our server Molly was great and we enjoyed chatting with the chef as well. Can’t wait to go back!

We came to Malones recently for dinner and were unimpressed. We were very much looking forward to trying out the food here but we left very disappointed. The evening started out on a high note with the Shrimp and Grits appetizer. I usually do not like grits but this one was very creamy and tasty. The sauce was delicious too. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. Our bread basket did not arrive until we had already began eating our entrees. The 12oz Hand Trimmed Ribeye was only mediocre and while I finished my order of the Seven Spiced Salmon Steak, it was quite bland and did not taste like it was seasoned with any spices at all. Also, I could have done without the celery purée. I am not sure we will be returning again to Malones because of the lackluster food. Also, the music they played downstairs in the dining area did not really go with the ambiance and feel of the restaurant. I do have to give a shout out to our nice waiter though, who was very kind and attentive.

A special occasion. It’s not everyday your son get’s accepted to American University graduate program. We had an early Thursday dinner and a really good experience. We decided to dine inside though the patio was quite welcoming. There were quite a number of interesting entrees and there were even some interesting pasta specials. We started with the assorted cheese for an appy, it was good but somewhat inadequate for two people. For $ 17 bucks this seems pricey for what you get. Three tiny slices of various cheeses. There are a few thin slices of bread and some pickled veggies but this is not a good value. I had the shrimp and grits, mi hijo had the ribeye. We were both quite pleased with our choices. We each had a craft beer. I opted for the Wild Wolf honey ale, me hijo had the Old Bust Head English Pale Ale… both quite good. They offer a nice variety of local craft beers as well as bottled imports. The wine list is extensive, i wanted to ask about the Booty Call Merlot but I didn’t. We had a great server in Jennifer, she remined me of Taylor Swift but with dark hair, she was quite charming and made us feel quite comfortable. Service was slow considering we were the only ones there at 530p on Thursday. I have no trouble recommending this place. The menu is extensive, an exceptional wine list and a positive all round experience. The food is on the pricey side for what you get. Cheese appetizer tray, $ 17 bucks The Rib eye was $ 35 bucks. The Shrimp and grits was $ 26 bucks.
