TAKEOUTKNOCKOUT! Based on the reviews I decided to try takeout here. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Mala with the app, and was surprised in every way. Easy ordering, nice cashier, outstanding food for a reasonable price. I travel a lot including Asia so I know my rice. The food is about as authentic as I’ve found in Central Jersey. This will be my regular takeout fix when I’m in the area.

Great food and the delivery service is very prompt. We order from them almost every week and have found their food to be consistently good. I would have to rate Kings as the best Chinese food overall in the area, but for take out AND delivery King Wok will not disappoint

I’ve never had a sitdown meal there, but the many times I’ve had takeout, it’s always been amazing. The boneless spareribs are made wonderfully. I have never had anything there I didn’t like. Chinese food is hit or miss, and this place has been a consistent hit.

Favorite Chinese restaurant in town, the food is always fast, fresh, and delicious. The staff is always friendly, and there’s always such great discounts. The best is their cheese wontons, and their general tso’s chicken. King Wok is the best!

It’s hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that does every standard dish correctly — sometimes a restaurant will have great vegetable lo mein, but lousy chicken with broccoli, or great beef in garlic sauce, but crappy General Tso. That experience will always make you question if you want to order from there, based on your particular taste or inkling that night. Not this place: every dish we’ve tried so far is done right. My only gripe is that it never takes less than 25 minutes for a takeout to be ready. Longest wait was 45 minutes with no apology either. Even the sit down meal had a significant wait time, so maybe it’s the lack of staff or efficiency, or maybe good food could just take that long to make. Bottom line is that you’ll like the food, but just prepare to wait for it.

For a local place it”s not bad at all. The eggplant in garlic sauce was really good. I thought the place was just ok.

Chinese food has become my least attended dining venue of all the wonderful Asian persuasions. So happy to have ran into this pleasant surprise. Clean modern look and Asian accented feel with plenty of seating. Bagged(Boo) tea placed upon all tables. The menu offers up all your traditional Americanized Chinese food and then some so be prepared to look beyond the lunch and dinner combo specials to check out the chef specialties where the good stuff lies. Garlic eggplant, jumbo shrimp with string beans, roast pork low mein, hot & sour soup, wonton soup, brown & roast pork rice. All lunch special around $ 6 and dinner $ 9. All magnificently done. Big chunks of slightly crispy eggplant in a tasty brown garlic sauce. True jumbo shrimp. Plenty of soft pork in the delicate low mein without all that gelatinous mess you get at your typical Americanized Chinese chow spot. Loved the ingredient full hot & sour soup and the wonton soup is flavorful with 3 big soft goody crammed wontons. Now the crispy duck with Chinese veggies was the star of the show at $ 14. Tons of perfectly crispy duck with moist quacky meat to fill your tum tum. Plenty of veggies including black Asian mushrooms. Right there with the best I’ve had, baby. Clean with attentive service. Nothing overly captivating in regards to atmosphere. Kinda basic. Lunch & dinner portions are bountiful, quality with quantity delivered nicely. Priced well and super value is what you should expect.

We get food delivered from King Wok fairly regularly. The food comes quickly and always arrives hot and fresh. They are flexible about making changes to certain dishes(adding mushrooms to chicken and broccoli or no celery in a dish…) We’ve always enjoyed the food from King Wok and recommend it to others! :)

The food used to be above average for take out and eat in. Recently however the quality has dropped. Dishes do not taste good anymore. It’s still an OK restaurant.

Good Chinese is hard to pull off — mediocre Chinese is easy. Fortunately, this is the first kind. Win #1: Scallion Pancakes, just crispy enough, served with a not-too-salty dipping sauce. Win #2: Rich, peanutty Cold Sesame Noodles. Very clean taste, al dente noodles. Win #3: BBQ Pork Fried Rice with dark brown rice, richly seasoned, with lean, deep red chunks of pork. All the vegetables in the fried rice are cooked to perfection. Win #4: Beef Rama. Chunks of beef in brown sauce served with a pile of vegetables. Again, all the veggies were cooked to crispness. The thing I noticed about every dish we ordered was how perfectly cooked everything was — the rice, the noodles, the meats, the vegetables — all perfect texturally. And that can make all the difference in the world between good and mediocre. Well played, King Wok.
