Your memory is faulty. I left your assistants’ tools in a pile in my driveway and fired him. I said the rate was too high for a handyman job. Before the job started, I waited a month for you to arrive. Then you sent an assistant instead. You had asked me earlier what I paid a previous carpenter. I told you $ 40.00 per hr. When your assistant finally showed up, I asked him how much is Melissa charging me? He replied, «I don’t know. «Melissa later on told me she charged $ 50.00 per hr. She appears to have a sliding scale depending on how how much money she thinks you have. I came from Malibu. She only charges a fraction of what I had to pay to BettyJo (another reviewer.) By the way; BettyJo showed me & complained about the poor work that was done in her kitchen and deck. So that was a false review by her. And yes her assistant John did tell me when I said $ 50.00 per hr. Is too high for minor jobs that if I said nothing to Melissa, he would do the job for $ 40.00 per hr. on his own. So much for employee loyalty… Furthermore my next contractor that I hired for further renovations and also other people who have come to my house have commented on the sloppy trim work that Melissa’s assistant did.

Melissa is as good as it gets! We have had her do a number of updates and projects at our Chamonix condo. Oftentimes, we have had to coordinate via phone or e-​mail since we are from our of town. Melissa never fails to do meticulous work, in a timely manner and send pictures of her work. She has been a life-​saver on a number of occasions. I wish every contractor we worked with was as dedicated as Melissa. To find someone this good up in Mammoth just makes having a vacation home a pleasure!

Melissa has done a number of projects at my Mammoth condo. We started with a small repair and I was so impressed with her timely and reasonable work, that I felt confident we could move on to other bigger projects. We had the complete condo painted and new flooring in kitchen and two bathrooms, along with various plumbing repairs. There is great attention to detail and she is very responsive by text and email to any changes. Photos are provided as the work progresses, this is so important to a second home owner, who isn’t available to see every phase of construction. She is a real gem in the construction business. She does what she says, in the time that is agreed on and for the bid given. I only wish she lived in Los Angeles and we would be lucky enough to have her work on our home or rental units! I would absolutely recommend her handy women or construction services!

Wow, a contractor who shows up on time & does a great job. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the reasonable cost. Melissa is professional and pleasant to work with.
