G C Forest Products

About a month ago, I had a very strange experience with this company. I searched Unilocal for a firewood supplier in Mammoth but found none with reviews, so I asked my home-​owners association (HOA) who I should contact and they recommended GC Forest Products. As I have small storage area I ordered just a ¼ cord online and paid via paypal. The next day I received an e-​mail from them stating it was an additional $ 30 to bring the wood to my unit. As I am in LA and not available to load it myself, I reluctantly agreed to the delivery charge and paid the additional fee. I notified the HOA that GC Wood would need a key to my unit. The next day I got a notification from my security camera that there is movement within my unit, so I logged-​in to the camera and saw that it was the firewood delivery service.
Instead of just delivering the wood and leaving, I was surprised to watch GC’s delivery man go into each bedroom, a bathroom (opening cabinets under the sink), the laundry room and even in the refrigerator. As I don’t have cameras in each room I don’t know exactly what he did in each of those rooms, but I do know there was zero reason to be in there.
In summary, their product and promptness are good, their delivery fee is expensive and I would never trust them in my house without being there to personally supervise.
