Red Lily is above and beyond the most creative and artistic florist I’ve ever worked with. Patricia is a visionary with a strong eye and sense for what works and what doesn’t. Her response time is absolutely appropriate and she has had an incredible work ethic. I’m sure people that work at a computer all day can respond to emails immediately, and expect something similar from others, but I know first hand, you have to be patient and she will deliver. Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding areas host roughly 400 weddings per year and there are very few vendors that have as much heart and talent as Patricia and Red Lily offer. Her flowers brighten my day and I’d give her a million stars if I could.

Red lily is very unprofessional. She is exceptionally busy and uses that as a cop out for bad customer service. My fiancé and I were referred to work with her and after an initial meeting she never responded to several emails and calls. In the last minute effort we decided to work with Mums and Roses and she was amazing. To me, customer service and follow up are huge. We wasted tons of time trying to work with her but at the end of the day she just couldn’t make it happen. Perhaps it time for her to hire a secretary…

Patricia from Red Lily Design did the flowers for my wedding. They were beautiful and spectacular! My theme was sunflowers and complimentary white/​ivory and yellow flowers. My bridesmaids dresses were a teal color and the sunflowers looked beautiful with them. I will attach a few photos but I don’t have most of my wedding photos yet. The arch was beautifully decorated and it was a dream to be married underneath such a beautiful arch. The reception table center prices were also beautiful. If we ever need flowers again in June Lake or Mammoth, I know who we will come see. I highly recommend Patricia for wedding flowers. Thank you for making my special day more beautiful!

Let me tell you… At first I did not know what to think about Patricia’s work style-​but oh boy did she get it right! Red Lily did not let me down. I was so happy on my wedding day with all the flower arrangements, and the peonies were my favorite, along with the succulents. Patricia did a great job and kuddos to her for being the only floral shop in Mammoth. It’s not easy to maintain gorgeous flowers throughout the seasons there. Her pricing was very reasonable and saved a lot with the selection of baby’s breathe for the braidsmaid’s bouquets. I have been using Patricia with Red Lily for years now. Every time her bouquets are above and beyond, Her customer service exceeds most any one in this town. The knowledge and the passion she puts into every arrangement will surely keep me coming back for more!

When my husband and I first met Patricia to talk about what we wanted for our Mammoth wedding, we were excited. She seemed to know exactly what we wanted, and even put together a bouquet right in front of us while talking.
The day of the wedding however, I wasn’t as happy. My bouquet that I wanted to be white was more yellow. All of the flowers were beautiful, but not quite what I was expecting. The biggest problem we had was the miscommunication, so be sure to put in writing exactly what is expected. My husband I and wanted, and thought we paid, for her to take the flowers from the ceremony to the reception. We remember having a conversation about it. Unfortunately, my in-​laws had to worry about trucking huge buckets of baby’s breath to the reception. The big floral arrangement at the top of the alter stayed at Forest Chapel all night instead of being brought to The Mill.
When my mother-​in-​law addressed the problems, she was told that WE were responsible for taking the flowers to and from. Was I supposed to climb up a latter in a wedding dress to transfer the expensive floral piece? Patricia agreed to refund $ 125, but that doesn’t erase the fact that my in-​laws spent a good portion of their evening dealing with flowers. My mother-​in-​law is still waiting for the refund.
Patricia will do a great job at making your wedding beautiful, but be sure to get all of the expectations in writing prior to your big day.

Patricia is amazing. I planned my wedding from LA and was a little stressed about booking a flower vendor a bit late in my planning. Patricia had more than several weddings on the day of my wedding and at first was not able to accommodate me. However when she heard I wasn’t having any luck with the other vendors in the area she offered to fit me in much to my delight. I was MORE than happy with what she provided. The ceremony and reception decorations were amazing and the wedding bouquets were gorgeous. I gave her my color scheme and she was great at suggesting types of flowers, pricing, and ideas. She even bought some tall vases (which I had wanted for the reception) in Reno so that they could be used at the reception. She takes a lot of pride in her work and it definitely shows in her detail. Definitely what I wanted for my wedding. Highly recommend her!

Planning a wedding in Mammoth from LA was NOT an easy task, but Patricia of Red Lily did me BEYOND proud! I wasn’t looking for anything particular. I simply told her the theme of our wedding and our colors. When I went to pick up my flowers on our wedding day I was BLOWN AWAY! She FAR exceeded my expectations! So happy we found her! DEFINITELY would recommend Red Lily to EVERY Bride!

I should start by saying that I planned my June Lake, California wedding… from the East Coast. I was referred to Red Lily, by a friend that lives in the area. Patricia was GREAT from the start. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing… when to order flowers, what kind of flowers I wanted, how many centerpieces I needed… etc. Patricia totally made me feel at ease… I never had to worry or stress because I knew she understood what my ideas were and was going to make it happen!
We picked up our centerpieces the day before the wedding, as they could be stored at the venue… The day of the wedding, I was able to pick up my bouquet and I was in AWWW… All I told Patricia, was that I wanted it to be round, no draping flowers, no fillers and wrapped in ribbon. Very descriptive right? I did send her a picture of my dress, as if that may help with design. She made it happen! My bouquet was bigger than my waist and exactly what I wanted!!!
I had the idea for my arch that included HUGE flower balls on each side, once I figured out the price of each side, it was out of our budget… However, Patricia was able to come up with the most beautiful flower pieces for the arch!!! Oh and we were able to move them in to decorate our cake table after the ceremony! We took a large amount of our flowers back to our suite and I decorated every room with flowers, which was a bonus because I got to enjoy them for the days following the wedding!!!
I could never thank Patricia enough! She helped make my day STUNNING!!!

When we met with Patricia to discuss our wedding vision, we were greeted by a professional, energetic, and creative woman who instantly put us at ease as we discussed various floral arrangements we would like to have at our wedding. She offered several suggestions about how to make our wedding décor even more special and made all of her and our ideas seem completely do-​able. We were able to exchange emails to make final decisions about number of bouquets, placement of arrangements, etc. that made it super easy seeing we were planning everything from 5 hours away. However, when we were in the area, she was completely willing to meet with me to answer some of my questions in person. Throughout the whole process, she was very personable, detailed, and flexible. When my bouquet arrived at my condo the day of the wedding, I was in shock. The quality of her work and the intricate details far exceeded my expectations. All I could do was stare at my bouquet! Then I noticed my bridesmaids’ bouquets… amazing!!! I got to our ceremony and it was SO NICELY decorated with petals and flower arrangements, I was completely in awe. The reception, too, was sprinkled with the exact kind of arrangements I had envisioned, but with brighter, fresher flowers than in the photos I had showed her as examples of what I wanted. The colors were well coordinated not only with each other but also with the colors we chose for our wedding. I do not exaggerate when I say that every one of our guests came up to us to rave about the floral arrangements and their unique quality. We could not have been happier! Thanks Patricia!

Patricia is absolutly amazing! She did my wedding this past May and her flowers made my wedding complete. Her design is so beautiful and unlike anything in this area. I highly recommend her work, you will not be disappointed!

She’s fantastic. Approachable, thoughtful, incredibly down-​to-​earth, realistic, flexible, and generous. (Really everything you want when planning a wedding) She can do anything you’d like with flowers and only carries the best, freshest flowers.
Planning a destination wedding is difficult, but with her recommendations for local service providers and familiarity with working with the mountain, our wedding went off without a hitch.
Since shipping to Mammoth can be prohibitively expensive, she even allowed me to purchase some of my materials in downtown LA, bring them up to her, and she was kind enough to store the boxes, take everything up the gondola, and do all the setup. That was definitely above and beyond what I could have hoped for.

I booked a client a weekend getaway in Mammoth, and at the last minuet my guest requested a bouquet of flowers be delivered to their hotel prior to check in. I called Red Lily and spoke with Patricia, the owner, and tough her schedule was full, she happily accommodated my request and delivered the bouquet (which my client loved) the same day. I am in great appreciation for her efforts and her product, and will certainly look only to Red Lily when in need of a florist in Mammoth Lakes.
