Hmm, so I frequently enough come to DIY for random stuff to fix the house with, and they always have amazingly helpful people and what I’m looking for. However my last time there, was not the case. The other day I bought a bunch of stuff knowing I’d have to return some not knowing the sizes I needed. I came to return things and the girl behind the counter couldn’t be more bothered that I had come in. She was so incredibly rude, I am someone who’s usually not offended, but was like«uh are you kidding me right now, how are you getting away with talking to me like that, even on a person to person level.» I’ve had the girl ring me up before, and she is usually less than charming and always less than thrilled to be working, to my problem, so don’t take it out on me. I walked out of the store saying«I’m sure it would just be so painful to be nice.» Because this is not my first encounter with this checker I felt that I should finally voice that the person who is ending your visit in a very nice, helpful store, is ruining the experience and ultimately making me not want to come back. Which is horrible to say in a small town, but I’d rather deal with shipping and returns through mail than have the convenience of going into the store and dealing with her bad attitude. It bothers me how others treat each other and just get away with their snarkiness and rudeness. It’s not okay, and it’s like«why?»

I’m from Leucadia, ca and we have the big home supply stores. I was doing a remodel and DIY was there with great support, helpful staff, and had everything I needed highly recommend them.

My roommates moved out and I had a lot of repair work to do on my house. The DIY center came thru every time, having all the supplies I needed! The staff was super helpful. I think I visited about 10 times in 2 days. Jessica helped me with finding the paint color and type I needed. It worked out great. Thanks DIY center!

I am working in the area and needed some chains. They were already. Put away for the season, but they went through their inventory and found them. This is like an Ace Hardware. They have everything you need, but the service is exceptional.
