While BCS preaches preventative maintenance, it is aware that most customers call when a problem arises: that’s all part of the business.
Better Comfort’s customer roster includes residential, commercial and industrial clients.
In addition to servicing and installing conventional heating and air conditioning systems, BCS has vast experience and knowledge of air makeup units (AMU’s) and dust collectors, enabling itself to handle nearly every call that comes in.

Better Comfort Systems, Inc., is a Massachusetts-based, full-service HVAC service and contracting company established in 1985 by founder and company president, James P. Schiavone, Jr.
Back then, our company boasted only seven service people and six leased vehicles. However, our desire to be among the best of the companies in our trade has helped us provide unsurpassed product service and installations to our customers.
Growing fast. Growing strong.
More than two decades later, we still stand by our «You Call, We’re There» motto and our strict adherence to a three-hour window for emergency service, both of which have served us – and our customers – well. BCS is now a leading full-service mechanical contractor in the state of Massachusetts, and is the foremost expert in designing, installing, and maintaining all types of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

In 1985, James P. Schiavone Jr. started Better Comfort Systems. Already with nearly two decades of experience at the time, Jimmy, as his employees call him, went out on his own. Fully committed to delivering optimal service in a timely fashion at a fair price, BCS flourished from the outset and quickly established itself as a major player in the world of HVAC under his leadership. Many members of the BCS team measure their length of service in decades rather than years, a testament to the family atmosphere fostered by their leader.
