History
Established in 1912.
When Eleanor Bugg opened her home to members of the community in 1912, she laid the groundwork for Mahwah’s first library. Today, the Library offers over 100,000 items and a wealth of programs for adults, teens and children to enjoy year-round. The Library’s new web site makes it easy to access online resources that are available to Mahwah residents wherever and whenever they want them. Everything from current eBooks to downloadable audiobooks and music is just a click away.
