History

Established in 2008.

JT Walker’s Restaurant & Sports Bar was opened by Justin Taylor, a native of Mahomet, who saw a need for a gathering place in his hometown that could appeal to the various needs of the local residents. With the liquor ban being repealed in the summer of 2007, Justin began work on the creation that would become JT Walker’s. JT’s has evolved over the last couple of years in order to better serve its loyal customers. JT’s is known for it’s variety and quality of food and drink options. Justin hopes this is just the beginning, and wants to continue to serve the local community for years to come.

Business Owner

I am a fourth generation native of Mahomet. It has grown so much over the last 60 years. I moved away for a number of years following high school, but I was drawn back to the community that I love. Opening JT Walker’s was a labor of love. I saw it as an opportunity for me to help give back to my hometown. Hopefully the great people of East Central Illinois think it is a worthy addition. I appreciate all the support from our loyal customers, that we like to call our friends. Thank you, so much for making this possible!
