History
Established in 1999.
Children’s Dental Center was established on July 1, 1999 when Dr. Tim Kinzel and Dr. Eric teDuits became partners to offer a pediatric dental office to Madison and the surrounding areas. Their goal was to establish an office where families could feel confident that their child was in a safe, «kid-friendly» environment, and that they were receiving the best care possible.

Business Owner
Dr. Kinzel, a 1984 graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry, completed his training in Pediatric Dentistry in 1986 at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and started practicing in Madison at that time. Originally from Peshtigo Wisconsin, Dr. Tim and his wife, Gail, have four children, and they live in Middleton.
Dr. Kinzel has had many rewarding professional opportunities over the years, including working with the Craniofacial Anomalies Team through the University Hospital’s Department of Plastic Surgery and teaching dental residents at Meriter Hospital.
Dr. Kinzel truly enjoys working with all the partners and employees of Children’s Dental Center and appreciates their efforts to create a fun positive environment where we can provide high quality dental care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special needs.
