Translating clients needs into finding the perfect home is what Ellen does best. She loves this community and has deep roots here. Ellen is also a second-​generation realtor. Her mom sold real estate in Chicago for twenty years, where she grew up. In the 1970’s, Ellen attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Before being licensed as a realtor, she taught foreign language in both Madison and Middleton, so she’s very familiar with these areas’ school systems.

Ellen helped my wife and I find our first home, and we sure didn’t make it easy on her. She showed us well over 20 properties and displayed a level of patience for our pickiness and anxiety that I didn’t know existed. Ellen stayed close to us throughout the entire process; she was there for late night phone calls about the houses, random showing requests, and questions about the process and next steps. There really is no way my wife and I could have found our new home without her. If you’re looking for a realtor who is more friend than realtor, someone who truly has your best interests in mind, someone who you can trust and rely on, you want to work with Ellen.
