We are local movers in Madison but do serve all of Wisconsin and some areas of Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota. Above Average Moving is a locally owned and operated company with over a decade experience in the industry as highly trained movers. Our goal is to provide our customer with an Above Average experience from the time you make the first phone call til the end of your moving experience. We take pride in knowing that our movers are outgoing for our customers. With our experienced movers they can worry about disassembly and reassemble for your beds or other large furniture. We supply all of the necessary equipment for your move including moving blanket’s to protect your furniture, dollies, strap’s, tie down’s etc… We do offer packing and unpacking service for those with the need.

Above Average Moving is locally owned and operated. We are professionals in the moving industry. My name is Terry Stevens, owner with over a decade of experience. Our staff is hand picked with many years of experience to service our customers. We give our customers more attention to detail. We do not hire college kids for summer jobs or temp labor to cut corners. We strive to be the best so we give our best.

My name is Terry Stevens, owner operator of Above Average Moving. I started in the moving industry at 19 years old with no intentions on it becoming my career. I started with another local company here in the Madison area and before I knew it I fell in love with it. Hard to believe I know, who would love such a tough job? me. I have grown a passion for providing a good experience for my customer’s. We all know moving is stressful and hard so I have taken all my years of experience to create what I would call my masterpiece. Moving furniture doesn’t take a college degree not even a high school diploma so it’s easy to become a «mover» but it’s quickly defined who the professionals are. I am a family man with a beautiful wife and two children who are growing up so quick, who knows maybe one day they will work with me? I am very dedicated, hard working and passionate about what I do.
