I like the selection here, I don’t enjoy farmers market because they don’t have any fruits. This place got it all: fruits, vegetables, dry stuff, eggs, and allot more. However, I think they should start getting meat…

For years and years this little corner didn’t seem to have much hope. Even on a busy intersection in Lynnwood, there was no future to be had for a drive-​through stripper coffee place, and if one of those can’t make some money around here, you start to wonder whether there’s a blank spot in cell coverage for processing credit cards here or something. Natural produce to the rescue! You might not be able to make money here with silicone melons, but it turns out you can with organic ones.
It’s not much to look at, really. Kind of a shack. Cinder block walls and who knows what for a roof. There are stalls roughed in with 2x4s to make it seem bigger; they bring those back in at night. There’s a bit of parking. But what matters is inside.
I don’t think they certify absolutely everything here to be organic, but they own many of the farms that supply them, and they work very, very hard to make things as natural as possible and still hit a decent price for the public. Look at the honey. You get a little plastic tub, and there’s honeycomb floating across the top of the honey. They only know for sure of one other farm in the country that never feeds their bees sugar, even in the winter, so they’re in a tiny club of places producing truly natural honey (of course, it’s local honey).
They have all the basic fruits and vegetables, and a fair few of the fancier ones as well. They sell 300 cases of chicken eggs a week, out of a place with about 6 parking spots. They really tear it up in here, and you’d never guess it by just driving by – it looks like nothing’s going on here. They even have a farmer’s special (I believe that’s the name, might be farmer’s box or something like that) for people on a budget. You ask for it, and they give you a mixed variety of stuff that they couldn’t sell yesterday. It’s a pretty huge box worth, and it’s $ 5. Great way to get fresh produce of high quality into the hands of people who need it.
We’re getting back to the old days where grocery shopping meant going to multiple places, rather than just one trip to one supermarket. I don’t have time to do that every evening after work, but I can easily do it on weekends. This is now part of the rotation.

The stand is practically 5 minutes from my house and i was just driving by one night when i saw that they had raw honey so i had to pop a U-​turn and take a look.
I was greeted by a very friendly young man who was exceptionally helpful introducing the business and giving me information about their honey and products. He claimed it was the best honey i can get and boy was he right! I was a little skeptical at first because I’ve had homegrown honey from small towns in Europe before, however i was blown away by how delicious Sunshine Farmers Market’s honey was!
They had fresh figs which were AMAZING and i also purchased some peaches which i tried at home and were heavenly! All their fruits and vegetables are bright, fresh and smell fantastic, not to mention look delicious. They have a great selection of items ranging from vegetables such as colorful organic carrots, raw milk to homemade baklava!
Being familiar with freshly grown, untreated fruits and vegetables i can assure you that their claim to have the best produce is quite accurate. I haven’t seen such a beautiful selection in God knows how long. The customer service is wonderful and i will definitely be returning, not to mention being so nearby adds a big plus!

I stopped in here today after seeing all the great reviews, boy, was I not disappointed! It’s 5 minutes away from me and I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. I’ll definitely be a regular customer. I hear it’s run by a family, that’s awesome, I had the pleasure to meet Noor this afternoon, what a sweet and charming gentleman. He was so genuinely friendly the minute I walked up to the stand.
I was amazed at the prices, I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I picked up a small assortment of fruits and veggies. Everything looked amazing and I can’t attest that it is fresh. I made a salad with some of the stuff I bought, delish!
A couple not produce things I bought was the Really Raw Honey, oh my, it is like heaven! Best honey I’ve ever had. I also picked up a can of Mid East pickled cucumbers. Yum! If you are a fan of pickles I highly recommend these. They aren’t quite pickles, they are better.
The best part is that they support local farmers and merchants, beautiful :)
I hope they have Christmas trees this year!

This local produce market is one of the most spectacular places to buy fresh produce and other fresh goods derived from local establishments. I don’t go anywhere else for my fruits and vegetables. The ones they sell here are fresh and are sold at great prices, in comparison to big corporations that have a shallow assortment in produce. (For example, the Albertsons across the street…)
All things related to produce are sold here fresh; anything from raw milk to ripe bananas, and even fresh local honey. The quality of the produce sold here is unbeatable, with an unbeatable price, and outstanding and friendly owners. So, if your sick and tired of paying ridiculous prices for produce with a sub-​standard quality and freshness, please come and support this outstanding local market.

This market is fantastic. Since we moved into the neighborhood it is the only place my husband and I will buy our produce from, it has even helped me to convince him to eat more produce because we love shopping there so much! The customer service is excellent, the guys who run it are super friendly and truly care that you are happy with your purchase.

My partner and I primarily do all of our produce shopping here. The prices are great, you’re supporting a local business, and there’s always excellent customer service. Shopping at the market is so much more comfortable than a grocery store and you’re getting fresh produce! You can try something new and if you don’t like it you get a refund! Overall, there’s nowhere better to buy your produce.

I’m confused about the few negative reviews, my experience here couldn’t have been more positive. The gentleman working was SO friendly, he chatted up each customer as they paid, asked about their day, etc.
The produce was great quality, and while the selection isn’t huge, it’s sufficient and the prices are pretty good! I’ll definitely be back.

I finally stopped by this market this past weekend after driving past it many times. The produce was of really great value and the prices were either the same or lower than Fred Meyer. What I really liked was the local raw honey! I bought a pound and shared it with my father in law who loved it! Will definitely be back for more. Plus the guy at the register gave my son a free banana. Awesome service!

I wish the person at the register had a better attitude and was less aggressive. Otherwise this market seems to be a good place.

It’s a nice little store with an array and quality produce for a much better price than at the chain store. They also carry local eggs, raw milk and honey. Very friendly people who work there.

This is now the only place I go for fruits and veggies. They have a pretty large variety and all of the prices are much lower than what you would find in even a regular grocery store such as Albertsons (across the street). Feel good about anything I buy, since it’s all local produce and feels better supporting small farmers rather than large, monotonous grocery chains.
The quality of all the food I’ve bought so far has been high; haven’t had a problem with anything being wilted or past due. Also, they have a few Turkish foods that make for fun impulse buys. Oh yeah, tell the guy behind the counter that the Canadian sent you.

I finally stopped in here after months of telling my husband we should check it out.
This same day I had checked out another close by market place and walked out without purchasing a thing, due to icky quality produce and a store that was less than clean. Since I was «kid free» for the morning, it seemed like a perfect time to stop in at Sunshine.
Upon arrival, there was already one customer ringing up and happily engaging in conversation with the employee, who still made sure to greet me.
I was impressed by the eye pleasing set up, the cleanliness of the store, and the prices. I chose a variety of produce ranging from giant bundles of spinach, onions, pears, and wax-​free apples.
When ringing me up, the guy helping me mentioned several times to let him know if anything could be improved or if I had a problem with my produce.
An overall pleasant experience and so far my farm fresh produce has been nothing but delicious. Repeat customer for sure.

What can I say that no one else has said? I’m sleeping better and losing weight because of this market. I guess they are a factor in my improved health. Less visits to the doctor. I’m more productive. The best of it all is the more than fair prices.
They get the products that people want. I asked if they could get large Portabella Mushrooms. They said that they would look into it. About 3 days later they had them. i was elated! I like to make them into mini pizza which are just amazing. (15 minute meal! Faster than a frozen pizza.) In fact they thanked me for the recommendation because they were selling really well. Someone suggested raw milk and duck eggs. Well it was so successful that its has become one of their best selling products. Im not a fan of either product, but that they were willing to bring in those rare products is an A+ in my book.
If anyone remembers, there used to be a horrible drive through coffee shop there. The place looked like a dump. If you look at the photos, you’ll see they tirelessly work on making the store look sharp. They said its a work always in progress, but they hope to continue to make it a clean and inviting place to shop.
Im told they now accept EBT cards as well as credit and debit cards. If you have any issue with their products, they will make it good with you. I haven’t had to take anything back, but its good to know they will. In some cases, you don’t have to return the product, they will take your word for it and replace the product. Now thats a community farmers market that I can support.
I hear they are planning to start a blog to help educate people about healthy eating, dispelling myths, digging down in what’s in our food and ideas on how to prepare the foods they sell. I think to many Americans have forgotten or never learned how to cook. More often we eat out than we should.

THIS IS THE REAL THING! Don’t be fooled by the other «farmers markets» that use that language and set up to trick you into thinking you are paying less for their $$$$ goods. OMG! HOW do these guys do it? They have all the basics and even my fru-​fru choices, ripe and wonderful — when no one else does! They will even help you pick things out if, like me, you can’t pick a ripe fruit to save your life. Plus, it’s like «Cheers» when I walk up — they know me and know what I like and might like almost from the first time I visited. Their recommendations are dead on. That is real personal service! I skip Safeway altogether and just go here, you should too.

The three brothers that own this fantastic market are simply wonderful! If you are lucky you will see all three at once. The Market provides not only produce but crescent products, raw milk, dates, bread, eggs, and Middle East products as well.
100% of our produce comes from Sunshine Farmers Market. We have our normal list and add a few things here & there. They usually have a special going on for ripe bananas and they will always let you know if something new came in.
We visit Sunshine 2 – 3 times a week. Located on the corner of 212^th & 44^th is perfect for lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace neighborhoods or if you just drive through. They have saved us a lot in produce and you can’t beat the freshness.

One star is for the convenient location.
The second star is for the mostly diverse and fresh vegetables.
Zero stars for customer service for Monday, June 2^nd.
I was offended by one of the brothers who said his name was «Yosef» or «Joseph.» His said his name very quickly. This was my first time meeting Yosef/​Joseph. My first red flag happened when I asked Y/​J the price of some vegetables on the back wall. Y/​J snapped, «What? You don’t know the price?!?» I replied, «Correct, there isn’t a price listed.» Y/​J laughed then said, «Yeah, we had to fix the cooler so we had to take the prices down.» If he doesn’t want to help a customer, perhaps he should work elsewhere. What he said and how he said it was very inappropriate and somewhat rude. I could understand if he was stressed out IF there were many people to tend to. However, in this situation, I was the only customer present.
The second red flag occurred when I was checking out, I turned to look at some almonds then turned back to Y/​J. He said, «What, you don’t like the almonds? Those are the best almonds. Russian people and Jewish people are the stingiest people in the world but they would come here and pay an extra $ 2 for our almonds. You don’t believe me? I am engaged to a Russian girl and I have 4,000 Russian friends!»
I told him what he said wasn’t very nice.
I don’t think I will be back.
Moreover, I will let my Russian and Jewish friends know what Y/​J had to say about them.

This is a fantastic produce market! Centrally located, and run by a family of really lovely people who are very helpful and very passionate about what they do.
You will find fresh, raw milk and fresh, local eggs from Alderwood Farms and other locations. They will soon have many many local cheeses, which will keep me shopping there until further notice! Not to mention mangos for a $ 1, and the brilliance that is selling overripe bananas (perfect for bread, ice cream, cookies, etc.) for $ 0.45/lb! Genius. Everything seems underpriced.
75% of my produce has come from Sunshine Market since I first stopped by. Excellent quality and an exceptionally positive experience every time. They are helping make Mountlake Terrace/​Lynnwood a cooler place to live!

This family-​owned business is wonderful. They are all about serving their regular customers, and will be getting new products in, as well as improvements to their stand. They are getting in new coolers, and told me they would have debit and credit card capability, as well as EBT, by now.
They’d like to carry organic, local produce, raw milk, chickens from local (I hope humane) farms, but they need to have the demand. They have wonderful imported foods from the Middle East, which to me are safer than much found now in this country, as their farms never deviated from organic and sustainable family agriculture. They are pleasant, helpful, and interested in you. Their enthusiasm is contagious — I love stopping by whenever I can.
Prices are very inexpensive, though the imported are higher — and I’m happy to pay for the quality. Organic will be higher, too, of course, but it is way worth it.
