Day one of the Lynnwood Farmer’s Market and all was wonderful. There were plenty of vendors, some musical entertainment and lots of help with parking from local law enforcement. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Lynnwood Farmer’s Market, and was jumping for joy when the day finally arrived. The Market is located in Wilcox Park(or the Flag Park, as many of we ‘Hoodians like to call it), which is amazing and centrally located. Plus, if you want to bring the kiddos, there’s plenty for them to do while you look at the wonderful booths spread throughout the front of the park. It was only the first week, and there were some really impressive vendors — several merchants selling fresh fruits and veggies, some kennel corn, a coffee vendor and places with baked goods. Let’s not forget about the handcrafted soaps, lotions and goodies — because that’s a big part of the reason I love Farmer’s Markets. With the amount of vendors and the number of people attending, I think this is going to be a huge success.
