Through both in-​person and online courses, Safe Insight not only helps clients hone their marksmanship skills, but provides them with important lessons regarding safe, legal firearm use. Instructors visit shooting ranges and corporate conference rooms in Washington, Nevada, and California to conduct training in everything from self-​defense techniques to private security handgun certification, as well as life-​saving first-​aid and practical crime-​prevention tips. Safe Insight also offers similar training options online.

History

Established in 2013.

Safe Insight was founded by a Law Enforcement officer that wanted to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for students who may already be apprehensive about firearms. The goal is to show students good techniques, then explain WHY they work so that students will retain the information. Safe Insight instructors work to help students become comfortable with firearms handling.

Meet the Manager

Mike C.

Manager

Mike started his firearms training career over a decade ago, beginning as a Law Enforcement firearms instructor. He branched out to begin bringing modern training techniques to civilians, who often only receive the same training that has been in place among firearms instructors for the past 25 years.

Rather than just telling students what to do, Mike has a unique ability to actually TEACH techniques. Those new to receiving firearms instruction have found this unique approach to be very relaxing, helping them to gain confidence. Mike has subsequently trained the rest of the Safe Insight instructor cadre to handle students with the same genuine patience and helpfulness.
