Worst service ever ordered for 5 people the guy taking the order was so stoned he couldn’t understand a simple order. pull up to the window and the girl gives up a rude look. I’m confused am I not supporting your business? 5 minutes go by with not even a hi or hello and finally the stoned Guy comes to the window we pay and he shuts the window a couple minutes go by and the guy comes back shoves 3 bags out of the window and shuts it no words were spoken he just disappeared in the back. What kind of service is that??? This place is slipping I won’t be back!

I’ve been going to Dave’s since I was a kid. My mom would always take us after going to the dentist which is right by there. Anyway Dave’s will always have a special place in my heart. It’s an unassuming little joint in pretty dead looking mini plaza (seriously someone needs to renovate the place). The food just like the burger shack doesn’t claim to be more than it is. But wow the food is delicious. The fries are perfect, the burger is definitely old school which is great. If you’re watching your weight try to stay away, but if you’re looking for a treat, you can’t beat the price or the food. As unappealing as it may sound to some few things please me more than taking home Dave’s brown paper bags filled with fries and burgers and noticing the good ol grease on the bags seeping through. The day this place closes is the day I lose a friend.

Best fast food burger in the area. Always good.

OMG! I was in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger so decided to stop by Dave’s. It was the best one I’ve had in a long time. It tasted like something I’d make at home and the bun was toasted! It was so big I could only eat half. And, I had my dog with me and they gave her a piece of bacon which was a bonus! Would definitely go back again.

FYI Dave’s is open. Went there today with the hubby and had our usual delicious double bacon cheeseburgers and fries. We always call before we head over to make sure they are open. Small price to pay to get the best big juicy burger around.

Tried this place after reading good reviews. Greasy burger and the inside looked pretty dirty. No more than a «it’s $$, here you go.» No hello or goodbye. I had a better burger from jack in the box later that week.

I would give this place a 5 star review of the customer service was better. I go to this place quite a bit and one the ladies that work here is always very sort and rude over the microphone but then you get to the window and she is nice… I just feel like she should have good customer service all around. If I get ride service again I won’t be coming back here.

Sad. It seems this place has closed down? I have tried to eat there 3 times this past week. Closed always. No signs or anything. Very sad if closed for good. Also sad if not closed for good. Bad for business to be inconsistent. Not reliable and I am likely no longer going to pursue what I have thought has been the best burgers in the area. You have lost a loyal customers that has been coming as a regular got several years

So it’s 6pm on Tuesday. Youre listed as open today from 11am –8pm. We drove through some pretty awful rainy traffic out of our way with 2 small kiddos to have delicious daves burgers for dinner. We get there and you’re closed. With no noticeable sign posted as to why. Feeling super bummed. I love this place for burgers but now I don’t know about coming back because we won’t know if they’re actually open or not …

Oh and by the way, if you’ve never had a fresh corn dog, as opposed to the stale things you get at a grocery, try Dave’s. Seems simple but it is really good. Me and the missus just tried one.
So…uh, yeah. I might actually be a superfan at this point.

Consistently yummy burgers and mushroom fries. They toast the buns and the mushroom fries are crispy.

Best Bacon Double cheeseburger in the area without question, and yes I’m including the new kids at 5-​guys, and the silly prices at Red Bobbin…
Odd location, small faded shack, let’s be generous… Fancy Shack. Employees are consistent, friendly enough, and moving quickly. But it’s not about any of that. Somewhere in the bowels of this little «Fancy Shack» someone has made a deal with dark forces unknown, to create a Burger, chicken sandwich, fries, and a Milkshake that are all just excellent every time… A little too good I think sometimes, when I’m done woofing down a Bacon Double, fries and a shake, trying to hide the evidence of my hedonistic pig out, covered in grease, and shame… Too good for such an innocuous location, yet I see no signs of evil, or of deal struck.
Keep your order simple, but order the double bacon, or just the regular bacon. I’ve not been disappointed with anything I’ve tried here, over the years.
Give them a shot! They won’t disappoint!

I got a bacon cheeseburger, which was good, but not amazing by any means. I ordered a boysenberry shake and could not drink from the straw. I had wait until I got home and get a spoon. It’s a nice place if you’re hungry, but not one of those places to drive a ways to eat at.

Decided to try this place again and I was pleased! Delicious fries and milkshakes are absolutely amazing. Glad I decided to go back.

Update — on 8 – 23 around noon the posted hours said they were open. The neon sign said they were open. Sadly — they were definitely not open. Had to eat junk from jack in the box. Sad, but I’m not mad.
I am never going to understand the negative reviews of this place. My family eats here all the time. For years. I can’t dispute claims like they are not consistent with their hours — I can only tell you that in ten plus years of weekly patronage that has never been my experience. I can’t argue with the poor service comments other than to say the two girls and one guy running this place are kind of amazing. Funny. Fast. Honest. Skilled on the grill.
They make your food fresh and right in front of you. The milkshakes are so good — plus none of the annoying styrofoam you get at McDonald’s. The meat to cheese ratio is perfection. The pickle to lettuce — same. The toasted sesame bun. The perfect almost char on the beef patty. This is no joke — it is so good.
Six bucks for a hand made dbl bacon cheeseburger. Two bucks for a generous portion of fries. 2.75 for a hand made before your eyes milkshake. Some idiots here are saying that is expensive!!! Maybe it is in 1955, but by the standards of 2015? That is cheap. Haters Gonna hate, but I suspect they are mostly from Unilocalers that only leave negative reviews for the most part. We all know the type and there is a nasty word for people that choose to be that way.

Well, I wasn’t sure what this little shack in the parking lot had to offer, someone had told me it was grubbin’! Truthfully, I was prepared to be disappointed. We got the fish n chips, onion rings and a teriyaki burger. The tarter was made with dill relish– score, none of that sweet stuff. Yuk! These fish n chips were amazing! Juicy, AND with flavor, plus a generous portion. The onion rings were perfectly fried, no stringy onions here. :)
My 13 yr old daughter could not believe the deliciousness of the fish and exclaimed, «this is amazing!» She has NEVER even liked fish n chips before! As for the teriyaki burger, we are STILL making noises without words. MmmmmmMMMMmmm, mmmmhmmmm, ummmhmmmm! Something like that! See attached picture of this juicy, dripping, taste explosion. I’ve got to go now because we are covered in sauce!

I will most likely try this place again, even if it’s just to try the milkshakes which I didn’t try this time.
I had the bacon cheese burger which was tasty but the review about it being a thin burger patty on a giant bun was spot on. However, the flavors were good and it tasted like it was authentically char broiled (I didn’t find out how they actually cook them, so it’s just a guess) and the bacon was nice thick cut bacon.
I ordered the deep fried mushrooms but I waited to long to eat them so they ended up cold but I am sure if I had eaten them when they were fresh and hot I would’ve really enjoyed them.
Overall not bad and I would rather support a small local business than a big chain.

This place is just fine.
it’s a drive thru/​walk up burger joint with some pretty good burgers. Not like, amazing, but good. I initially went for their deep-​fried mushrooms which were great the first time I had them but drippingly super greasy the second time. The spicy chicken sandwich was pretty good too.
I’ll probably come back for a quick and dirty lunch if I feel like doing some extra cardio to make up for it later.

Dave’s is an OG’s local spot. You will only find out about it because someone else you know will be like «dude there is this place just off the highway… it’s not pretty from the outside — but damn it’s simple good»
If you’re looking for sit down servings and doilies on your table, get lost! This place is about burgers, onion rings and fries and eating good tasting food in your car while you’re driving with one hand on the steering wheel. Newsflash… you don’t come here for the kale salad.
The service I received today was friendly, and the burger was great. The shake was awesome.
I would equate it to a no frills version of Redmill. Major yum, I was going to give it 4 stars but I was like ‘what the hay’ they did a good job today and you deserve the 5 star props. Well done
