Established in 2015.

We are brand new to the area and saw that Lynnwood and the north end in general was lacking in salsa and social dancing. Thus Sound in Motion was born to offer an option for north end dancers, or anyone not wanting to drive into Seattle and deal with parking.

Business Owner

Heather is a leading instructor that loves sharing her passion for Latin dance. She is well renowned for her teaching techniques on fundamentals and has the ability to connect, relate and transfer knowledge. Heather is known for her love of the stage, and her technical and efficient style of teaching. Heather is an expert at connecting students with their body and getting them on the dance floor. Even if you have two left feet she can teach you how to move to the music and feel good on the dance floor. Heather has been teaching, performing and competing across the US! She has won many awards and competitions including the New York Salsa Congress Jack and Jill. Professionally, Heather has taught and performed across the US. But her true love and passion is teaching beginners how to dance.
