Our office is equipped with state-​of-​the-​art dental technology, so that you receive dental treatment that is not only effective, but also delivered as efficiently as possible.

History

Established in 2010.

8 to 8 Dental Lynnwood started as a small family owned Dental practice. We started based on our belief that it is important to be affordable and flexible. As a family practice we go above and beyond to serve everyone in the community. That is why we extend our hours from 8 am to 8 pm for those with busy schedules and offer an in house membership to make dental care affordable to everyone. We strive to offer quality care with our State-​Of-​The-​Art equipment. All of our Doctors are compassionate and gentle. We have since grown to serve the greater Seattle area and soon to serve the greater Everett area.

Dr. Thongin E.

Business Owner

Dr. Thongin grew up on the East Coast and went to Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating with honors in Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and Endodontics. Dr. Thongin completed his residency at the University of Washington and has accrued over 1000 hours of continuing education courses throughout his years in practice. He is known for his compassionate manner and extensive knowledge of the latest techniques in dentistry.

So far they have lived up to their high ratings. I’ve only been twice so far.
Their service is friendly, very efficient and well explained. They do their best to make you feel comfortable.
I had a tooth extraction. There was no pain during the procedure.
Definitely recommend them.

Service it’s okay, they try to be professional which is good, but they have a lot of kids working there (no experienced people) I had a couple extraction here and I told the dentist that I was feeling every single pinch, it was painful, he didn’t care and just told me we are almost done. ???
I never ever going back to here I had the worst experience in my life. At first Dr. Lee was taking care of me he was awesome and good but then he was gone and I was seen by every Dr. (Not good)
From 1 to 10 I will give them 2 because of Dr. Lee.

If you are looking for s quality dentist & one that will work with most insurances & offer very reasonable price, 8 to 8 is the place to go. My first visit was
$ 29.95 for checkup. The staff go out of there way to may your experiences stress free & pain fee. Absolutely the best with 3 very concentrate location & open m-​f till 8pm & appointment available on Saturday. I can say enough out how truly great there team is.

Don’t listen to the 5 star reviews! They offer a gift card if you write a 5 star review! I’m so shocked and appalled by this place! Please avoid!

I have the worst dental fears imaginable. When I busted off part of a tooth, I refused to go see a dentist for weeks. Then it became painful and infected so I had no choice. I referred to 8 to 8 Dental by the company I work for. Even though I was in so much pain, I knew I needed to go. And I am SO GLAD I DID! Dr Tran was the dentist I saw and could not have been a better fit for me. He was kind, genuinely caring and so gentle. He took his time, assessed the problem and made a plan. He explained everything he was doing and really put me at ease (even though at 36, I still made my mom go with me) Not only was he phenomenal, but the staff, from the front desk to the hygienist/​assistants, have all been wonderful. Plus the convenience of their hours is amazing. I highly HIGHLY recommend 8 to 8 Dental in Lynnwood!

Not sure why the Unilocal reviews are so great about this place? Even with insurance they still treat you like a cash cow. Cant make apt with out a deposit, what kind of crap is that? Have to pay up front before any real work is done = more bs! Maybe if you are desperate this place is good but if you have decent dental coverage there are way better places out there. Even dental schools are 100% better!

Definitely go! I went to here got my wisdom teeth done. Dr. Tran and the nurse Tina was so nice and professional to help me got everything done. I didn’t feel pain at all. They did such a good job! Absolutely the best choice!

I have crappy dental insurance, so after jumping through hoops, I decided to give 8 to 8 Dental a try. 8 to 8 Dental is like the Toyota production system of dental services: fast, affordable (somewhat) and consistent.
I’ve been here 3 times and each time, my appointment started about 5 – 10 minutes late but the appointments were always within the given time estimates. I’ve had dentist appointments in the past that were supposed to be half an hour and ended up being over an hour, so this is definitely a positive change! The dentist I saw (Dr. A? Dr. D? I forgot, sorry) was very friendly and personable. I like that he didn’t try to push unnecessary services to me like some other dentists have done in the past. During our first appointment, he was very thorough with his questions and assessment. The dental assistants I’ve met so far have been friendly and helpful. I’m docking off a star because the regular cleaning I got here was easily the least thorough cleaning I’ve ever had (but it was also the most painless and quickest one).
To end this on a positive, I like the transparent pricing model of 8 to 8 Dental. There is a price sheet that you can consult and you would never see any surprises. They also have a dental plan you can purchase to get discounted services. I also appreciate the convenient hours.

Came here with an outrageous toothache thinking it was my wisdom teeth. Turns out it was a back molar, but the staff was very accommodating and gave me pain meds and antibiotics then set me up for extractions. Told me I might as well get all my wisdom teeth extracted which made sense. I opted for sedation since I sometimes have trouble getting numb. I was told I would forget the car ride there and the procedure!
They set me up for extractions the following week so my infection could settle down. Doing the IV really sucked because they couldn’t find a vein but I would probably blame that on my anatomy. Then came the drugs which was awesome! I remember the whole procedure and was pretty much awake the whole time but it was quick and painless. Afterwards, the drugs didn’t last long and my mom had to get all my prescriptions. Got a check up call the next day but couldn’t talk at all since my mouth was more chipmunk-​ish than normal. A week later and pretty good. I stopped in to pick up a Dr’s note for work which was no hassle. Probably the most annoying part was somebody’s kid that was running around the back area during my procedure which gave me some anxiety while on the drugs. Tame your kids people! The Drs are very friendly and great. Highly recommend this place.

I had never been here before, but my son had an emergent issue that needed attention. My work schedule made it very difficult to arrange any kind of appointment, anywhere. I called at 10am this morning, and not only did they fit him in the same day, but they accommodated my work schedule as well. He was very nervous and of course, concerned about the intense pain he was experiencing. Every single staff member, from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor himself, were amazing in their kid-​friendliness and genuine concern at making him feel at ease.
They take many major insurances but also offer a myriad of other payment options and arrangements. Very flexible in every aspect of their business. They truly epitomize making dentistry as painless as possible, in every possible way.
Very clean, welcoming environment, complete with a welcome table in the cozy lobby, where you can help yourself to single-​serve bags of pretzels, cups of tea or apple cider, and current magazines. Comfortable ambience and attention to detail.

I woke up 40 minutes late to my appointment and they still welcomed me in. I was told I might not have time to finish all my filling on that day since I was late but the dentist decided to work on all the scheduled once for that day anyway. 5 star experience :)
Everybody is polite and very welcoming, much better then my last dentist!

I went to 8to8 with a dental emergency and was so pleasantly surprised at how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The issue I was having required some follow up including what was (to me) a fairly scary procedure. However they got me through it with ease and at a reasonable cost. I am thrilled with them and plan to stay on as a regular patient, and am trying to convince my husband to go as well (he’s not a fan of the dentist either, lol). If you have any fears or trepidation about the dentist, this is the place to go. They explain everything to you thoroughly and you can ask all the questions you’d like (not to mention the extended hours are fantastic). So very glad I went.

I’ve gone to this location in the years past when I didn’t have dental insurance and needed emergency dental care. Even then, they had an amazing staff and high quality dental care at rates I could afford with their membership plan.
Now that I have dental insurance, the cost is even lower and still the quality of the care they provide is outstanding! I’ve planned with my dentist the work that needs to be done in the upcoming months. In the meantime, I was able to get one of the best prophylaxis cleanings in my adult life by a staff that took time to listen to my concerns and address my needs.
I’ve already recommended them to one of my coworkers who told me they really helped them with their emergency care too! So, if you need a dental office in the Mill Creek/​Lynnwood area, stop by and make an appointment with them today!

This place is a total scam. They don’t even clean your teeth on your first visit, which is all that I wanted done. I haven’t had a cavity in over 10 years and they told me I have 12 cavities and need a skin graph done then lead me over to a billing person who tells me the total will be almost $ 5000, $ 1600 of which will be out of pocket. They asked for a security deposit and then told me they wouldn’t have time to clean my teeth! They bribe people to write Unilocal reviews by giving them a gift card. I just got a bill in the mail from my insurance company telling me I have to pay out of pocket for the X-​rays they took because I exceeded my limit for the year. Most dentist offices will check this BEFORE they do X-​rays in order to avoid this. Don’t ever go here.

Great staff, get me in, but find it odd they request to have a down payment before arriving to your first appointment. They have been great towards me but my spouse also goes to this location and has not been impressed, feels taken advantage of at times.

I absolutely love 8 to 8 dental, I have anxiety when it comes to dentists and doctors but The staff and doctors are absolutely wonderful. And they are affordable they also provide membership plans that save you so much money which is what I got. My husband and we’re walk ins the first time we went there and they got us both back very quickly, I ended up needing extraction and they did everything to make me feel comfortable during the extraction. Unfortunately the pain from my extraction was getting worse so I went in today with no appointment and I was in the back within minutes turns out I have dry socket and even though I was hurting they did everything they could not put me in anymore pain. I’ve never felt so comfortable at a dentist before coming to 8 to 8 dental. I highly recommend them. I know my husband and i I won’t be going anywhere else. =)
