I’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years so gave a fair amount of chances to this place but three strikes and huge let down every time. Customer service bad, always rude girls working at the front who could care less. The last few times I’ve gone in to order they have forgotten parts of my order and I have to ask for it after waiting 15 minutes only to have to wait again. Food is not good after trying different things. I would recommend Londis on Highland Ave. in Salem a few minutes up the street great service and food is MUCH better. Or try Angelina’s in Lynn(best steak and cheese ever). Don’t waste your time or money eating at this place.

Hands down the best Subshop on the east coast! I’ve been eating at Nicks for almost 3years now and I will not order from another Subshop around. Food is awesome, staff is great, and the beat part other than the taste of the food is when I go in I’m remember and greeted with a hello and a first name basis.(hello Justin how’s everything going today) if you haven’t tried them you need to put down that Wendy’s burger and run to Nicks for great food and a friendly atmosphere! :). #teamASAP

The food was great! Just wish they kept up with maintenance. The ketchup bottles had muk and cobwebbs on them. And the tables are always gross.

I live in this area, so I’ve ordered Nick’s many, many times over the few years it’s been open. We like it, but you have to stick with what you like. I’ve been burned a few times trying new things there. Now, I know: order a beef, a kabob sub/dinner/salad, mozz sticks, curly fries, or buffalo chicken/chicken cutlet sandwich. Those items are typically good. Here’s the items I haven’t been impressed with: Meatball sub — meatballs are sooooo bland, sauce was good Mozzarella sticks — one time they were bad, have ordered since and they are good(we suspect they were sent the wrong thing from their distributor) Italian sub — I’ve ordered this a few times, even though its not my favorite Italian, cold cuts are sub par and cut too thick Turkey club — sub par bland deli meat(reminiscent of oscar meyer pre-cut slices), cut WAY too thick To end on a good note — their kabob subs are amazing«Greek» style with feta, tomato, lettuce, onion, and their house creamy Greek dressing. Get one.

Roast beef ranks high. Shredded and cooked not rare… Melts in your mouth Some of the staff can be rude and condescending like the other reviews say but today the young lady who took my order was friendly and efficient. Just got a super beef with cheese and raw onions today and like I already stated it ranks up there with the best in the area. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and try other items.

Horrible! Awful! Go someplace else!!! I would give ZERO stars if i could. We tried this place when it first opened and it wasn’t great, but figured we’d give it another try. I ordered something as simple as a cheeseburger sub… i think the burgers were made three days before they made the sub! So rubbery and tough that an alligator couldn’t chew it! There are PLENTY of good sub/pizza shops in Lynn. I hope this one doesn’t last long!!!

I’ve had food here a couple of times and so far I’ve enjoyed their food. My only main issue with this place is the woman that was taking my order was really rude. After doing a couple of more delivery orders I kept receiving the same rude woman taking my order. Because the way I was treated, and some of my coworkers, I’ve reached a point where I no longer plan on eating there or making delivery orders. They need to treat their customers a little better.

place started out great but is rolling down hill. ordered a gyro dinner the pocket was burnt and hard, the lettuce in the salad was nasty, also ordered a chicken kabob dinner, they delivered a chicken finger dinner and when i called them back i got the«hold» then i was told what i ordered to which i replied, i know what ordered but as i said that is not what i got, then was told it will be along«put the other food back in the bag and return it to the driver» i hope it wasn’t served to someone else!

Happy to report, improvements have been made. Staff is professional and friendly. Yay! Consistency is key, fingers crossed! Previous review-I guess some lessons are hard to learn… I called today and before I can say a word, I hear«Nicks, hold!» Few seconds later they hung up… This is not the first time, but it will be my last. There’s plenty of businesses in the area that would appreciate my business.

I tried out Nicks last week. A friend told me about it and told me how she loved the curly fries. I ordered a roast beef three way on an onion roll. I must admit the sauce on the roast beef was a little to spicey for me and they messed up on the Three way.(Which means sauce, mayo, and cheese) there was no cheese on my sandwich! I was excited to try the curly fries too but they were burnt! Which is the worst when your hungry! I had to throw them out :/We also ordered a salad with their house dressing and the dressing was really bad. It tasted like italian dressing mixed with mustard! Ughhh. With all the pizza and roast beefs places in Lynn you would think a new place would be on there A game! I’m giving it two stars because I had a bad experience. Also it’s really hard to Google them and actually find their number! There are a million Nicks pizza and roast beef places so I had to ask my friend for the number. I don’t think this place will last that long. Hope everyone else has a better experience than I did!

The food here is amazing. Every single thing. I am a big fan of the chicken broccoli and alfredo pizza as well as the bacon pizza. Subs are fantastic. Burger dinner is great. The only thing I would change is the phone/customer service. Whenever I call someone picks up, usually a woman and they just sound so annoyed and inconvenienced. I’m sure they have a long line in front of them but there is no excuse for poor customer service. I am usually put on «hold» for 5 minutes or longer but the phone is simply placed on the counter so I can hear everything they are saying. On one occasion I was forgotten about on the phone and hung up on. I am writing this review in hopes that the owner/manager sees it and fixes this issue. Its a shame the customer service isn’t better because the food really is great.
