Tires Plus

It is a given that most auto service shops take advantage of the female gender when they seek out repairs. My daughter called ahead looking for tires for her Dodge Durango when Tire Choice «screwed the pooch» when she called them first. I use this location and referred her to them. I didn’t have to get involved. They gave her a good price over the phone and took a $ 25 coupon I had been sent as a good customer. They made her aware that for a few dollars more she could get lifetime balance, flat repair rather than a one time balance on the tires. She bought that service on the 2 new tires and the tires she already had. They checked the alignment for free after rotating and installing the pair of new tires. They told her she needed an alignment and that her front brakes were going to need replacing soon. They did not pressure her but seemed concerned that she had small children.
Always remember, we are the customer and these business would not thrive without our patronage. Support a business that treats you well, especially if in your neighborhood, and «slice and dice» those that ignore you as a valued customer.
Also, and most important, be polite when dealing with any business as well as firm/​fair with your requests. If there is a problem, express it and give them a chance to rectify it. Not preaching, just saying as a man with 35+ years of retail manager experience.

Shopped for tires a few months back. Tires Plus staff gave me the best quote on national brand tires, with road hazzard, and the extras I was looking for.
They did notice I few things my van does need and gave me a no hassle no pressure quote. The alignment was spot on also. Happy, and I will be back.

Definitely would not recommend this place. Went there to have one of my tires looked at for a slow leak. They told me all four tires were worn so bad that they couldn’t repair the slow leak in the one… that it would be «illegal for them to do it because of the excessive wear and all four had to be replaced.» After much grandstanding about the unusual size of the tire, they managed to come up with their best price of $ 270 per tire installed and raved about how much of a discount they were giving me on the lowest priced tire in that size available. My gut told me I needed to shop around, but it was getting late, we were planning a trip to Disney the next day. I decided to get two replaced instead of all four for the sake of time (had the family with me) and to spread the expense. Would be less than an hour I was told and they would also check my alignment for free. More than two hours and $ 560 later I finally had two new tires on the van. Of course they forgot to check the alignment, but if I could wait another half hour they could still do it. Didn’t wait.
The kicker? While getting my oil changed at Sears, they noted the wear on two of the tires and said I’ll need to replace them soon, but nothing about being worn past the point of repair or use. They could also replace both for $ 230. In end, I left Sears Auto center with two new tires, a front end alignment, and an oil change for just a little more than half the price it cost me for two tires at Tires Plus. Oh, and they did it all in just over an hour.

Of all the auto shops I’ve been to in my life, this Tires Plus branch is by far the best. I’ve been taking my car there for years and they consistently provide excellent service. They do a great job of keeping me updated and they always have my car ready for me at the time they say they will.
Because I drive a ’98 Cadillac which is still puffing along (God bless it), I find myself visiting this store more often than most. The Store Manager is great and consistently does all he can to ensure excellent service. Likewise, the mechanic who usually (if not always) works on my car always makes it a point to stop in and say hello. The staff here is fantastic and they always go above and beyond to ensure my experience was a positive one.
I’ve had more than a few frustrating experiences while getting a car fixed and I can honestly say I’ve had none since I started taking my car here.

I don’t take my car anywhere else to be serviced because I know Tires Plus will always treat me like family and they will always do a great job of keeping my boat chugging along.
