Best casual ski food ever. This ski-in, ski-out open air venue is at the entrance to the Sugar House Lodge. Entering here the aroma of pulled pork barbecue permeates the air. little bit confusing as there are two lines, one to order and get drinks, after which the customer walks to a food waiting line. Smoky Jo’s is very convenient. Separate entrance from the chaotically crowded lodge at the Sugar House. Wide, open benches with huge propane heaters to warm even the coldest days. And then… The food… The food… Really, the food. Delicious pulled pork. And Ahi Tuna salad. And humongous burgers. And then there’s the beer. Oh yes, the beer. Local brew on tap. And then great beer overall. Since we started coming over to Smoky Jo’s, we haven’t needed anywhere else for lunch on the mountain
