History

Established in 2008.

The Legacy Event Center was purchased from the First Presbyterian Church in 2008 as a project of the YWCA of Lubbock.

This venue has been featured on The Knot! It is breathtakingly beautiful, and is comfortable and fun. The staff is helpful, and the décor is interesting enough that it can be dressed up or used as is. There are great places to get dressed for a wedding, and it has room for a reception. The acoustics are good, and all rooms lend themselves to beautiful pictures. Highly recommend!

The Legacy Event Center rocks. It is a great venue for some many different things. I have been in a wedding here. The getting ready room was spacious and great. The actual wedding was beautiful and the room and pews were perfect. It is an added bonus that the Pickle and The Pig is now located inside of the Legacy. I also have attended «MusiCare» a local Charity concert performed yearly by Medical school students and doctors that benefits Covenant’s music therapy program. I have never met anyone who works at the Legacy, but whoever they are they are great at coordinating events and helping everything run smoothly.
