Such a cute little place! Smells amazing and the woman at the counter was super sweet! A little pricey, but that was expected. Didn’t have any problems and I even brought my 2 year old in. I would recommend carrying your child if you do bring them. We will be coming back!!!

Great selection of loose leaf teas and chocolates. You can spend a long time poking your head around all the little corners of this place. Get things and take them home for a special treat or enjoy them on their patio.

Best selection of gourmet exotic imported chocolate in town. My daughter and I are regulars here for an afternoon snack. They also had a HUGE variety of fresh loose leaf teas and coffee beans. Great place to buy a gift. Chocolates sold individually or in cases with beautiful wrapping.

Visited Otto’s while in town a few weeks back. This is a great, unique place. They have a huge selection of coffee beans, tea, candy, sweets, and collectible items. I ended up completing a Christmas gift for my mom with the owner’s assistance. She LOVES all of coffee samples I gave her. I saw another reviewer commenting on high prices, but I honestly don’t agree. This is not like going to Starbucks or some chain place. Sure, you may pay a little more, but it is worth the extra bit for the experience, environment, personal touch, and for the stuff you just won’t find in your average store.

I visited for the first time today with my sister and neither one of us had a great experience. The place is nice and all but the staff made us feel uncomfortable and watched. I could not just peruse and look around, as I wanted to, to see what all they have to offer. Instead I felt rushed to make choices since the staff kept following us, almost like they wanted to get rid of us as fast as possible. This lead to mistakes on my part and having to change what I had chosen since it was way to expensive, and instead of being understanding the staff seemed very annoyed at the mistake. Really! I thought«the customer is always right» was the model of a business that relies on customer service… when providing services at my job I certainly follow this rule. Overall I got sort of what I was looking for but was not very satisfied with my purchase.

Such a fun place! The chocolate and teas are amazing and so many cool figurines and gifts! I wish they had a spot to sit and have your chocolate, tea or coffee, but nonetheless, it was so cool! I highly recommend this place, even if just to stroll and peruse! It’s a great kept secret of Lubbock even though it’s been around for years!

One of Lubbock’s best kept secrets, yet! They have a wide variety of gourmet chocolates, coffees, teas, jelly beans and other candy! The place is well decorated and has a rustic feel to it. It was also very clean and well maintained. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Overall, a gem in the heart of Lubbock!

They had a nice selection of sweets. From their candy case to the jelly beans and packaged chocolates, I’m sure this place is busy during the holidays and especially Valentines day. They also had board games for sale and a large selection of loose leaf tea and coffee. The only thing I didn’t like about this store was the staff. They were friendly, yes, but the way they were following my kids and I around the store, and then standing in the corner in the room we were looking around in, made me feel uncomfortable. If theft is an issue here, maybe invest in some security cameras and watch me on them instead of staring at me while I try to shop! Or at least don’t make it so obvious!

They have a wonderful selection of Godiva chocolates(more than anywhere else in Lubbock) along with tons of coffees, teas, and candies! This is definitely a great place to buy unique and interesting gifts for friends, family, or coworkers!

Looking for a coffee shop today we found Otto’s. although their coffee is machine made, and we did not order any, the selection of whole bean coffees and loose leaf teas more than made the stop worth it. If you are a lover of espresso beans be sure to try some from their extensive selection of covered beans.

I used to come here to get sweets for the girls I would date in college. It is a neat place with almost every chocolate dessert you could want. Friendly staff with mid range prices on the goodies.

Now this place can not compete with tea houses I found in Germany, but it is the best place I fund between here an Dallas. They have good leaf tea and they will brew you some if you ask them. They have nice coffee as well, but I come here for the tea. If you want good pralines they have these too. They have other nick nacks but I am not into sweets and so on, so I can only talk about the tea they have.

Fancy little shop of secret yummies: coffees, teas, CHOCOLATES! Neat lil’ chachkies, but… be warned: DONOTGETTHECOFFEEFROMTHEIRINSTANTMACHINES. We ordered a variety of coffees/cappuccinos/lattes…and they all ended up tasting the same.(Very 7 – 11 instant, to be honest.) But, as for a neat lil’ shop with fancy lil’ things for special gifting… this is the place!

This is the best place to find loose leaf tea in the area. The tea is some of the best quality that I’ve found. It’s much better than Teavana(and cheaper). I don’t live in Lubbock and I still order tea from here. Scott is a great businessman and always sends me a Christmas card. It’s great.

I love Otto’s. They have the best coffee and tea in flavors you wont find anywhere else. For teas they carry blacks, reds, and whites. Apricot black is great and the whites you can’t go wrong with. Some very interesting flavors like Sechung Oolong(which tastes like fire.i.e. it’s very smokey and unique) For coffee they carry too many flavors to list. You could try a new flavor every week, or even everyday, and it would take you months to go through the flavors. They even carry the famous/infamous Jamaican Blue Mountain. My personal favorite in Kona The also have a great selection of chocolates and goodies. Lots of Godiva and they sell individual truffles. They’ll make up customized boxes just like Godiva boutiques but they carry nearly all the pieces. Love love love this. They also carry a few other brands of sugary goodies. Definitely worth checking out. They may not be cheap but they are really the only place you can get this stuff in Lubbock. The owners are super-friendly and helpful… and love Texas Tech.
