I have eaten here twice in the last month. It is the closest place to where I’m working. The first time I had a burger and fries. Yesterday I had a small Taco salad. Let me start off saying this place is a DIVE! VERY local and heavy redneck! The flies inside the restaurant make me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Don’t put your arms on the tables as you will lose skin because the tables are so sticky! The burger and fries were accetable, kinda hard to ruin that. My taco salad on the otherhand was HORRENDOUS! the lettuce was very wilted almost to the point of looking slimey, the tomatoes were translucent they were so old, the black olives had gone bad and had a very peculiar taste, and the Jalapenos had NO taste or burn, and there was so much onion on the salad thats all I tasted the rest of the afternoon! The only thing that was even edible were the tortilla chips which appeared fresh fried. I was the only customer in there eating at a table at the time and the waitress had to ask me each time she refilled my glass what it was I was drinking. I asked for my bill and when the waitress brought it out she immediately disappeared somewhere. it was then that I noticed that I had been charged for a large salad vs. the small I ordered. Now in her defense she did re-ring up my bill. I will not be eating there again and reccomend to anyone else thinking about it to drive the extra few miles and go on into town! To bad there isnt a ½ star.

I’d give it 2 ½ stars, so 3 is really a little generous. Don’t have any expectations: it’s there, it’s open, it’s a place to eat and have drinks. Sometimes they have local bands that are pretty good but way too loud. It’s VERY«red-neck» and I mean that in purely a descriptive way, not a put-down. VERY local. Service was not that great as of the last times I was there and there were a few times the service was get-up-and-leave before u got ur food… hopefully that’s changed. Look: it really is way out in the boonies of Loxahatchee and it’s pretty much the only place to go to in the area… You’ll get decent food most of the time, pretty reliable basic breakfast menu. Good burgers, good soups. Service: don’t expect much.

Not bad… I’m in Florida for work and this is the closest restaurant to my job site. It’s a divey-looking place that seems to be popular with the locals during happy hour. I have to say that you have to have patience for the flies in this place because they will swirl around your table throughout your entire meal. And the furniture is kind of grimey looking but felt clean enough to me. I’ve been here twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner and both times I’ve gotten the fish & chips. Apparently, there’s a different cook for each meal slot because the fish has a much crispier and delicious breading during lunch and is soggy and not as good during dinner. Our waitress said to just ask for a crispier breading next time. The portions were quite generous and the fries were hot and crisp. The staff is really friendly and helpful and prices are decent.
