History

Established in 2010.

VSM (Versa Studios Media LLC) is the award-​winning production company/​agency founded by Kenneth Stevenson. From image-​acquisition to aspects of distribution, VSM specializes in short/​feature films, music videos, and emerging media technologies.

The VIP (Versa Internship Program) is a cinematic intern program designed to provide an educational and professional experience to crew members around high school and college campuses. It is maintained by Andrew Bennett and provides a pool of talent from which VSM recruits for larger projects.

Stevenson fondly recalls watching family sideshows and Sci-​Fi epics as a boy and believes this to be the catalyst for his desire to enter the film industry. He has worn many hats since the start of his digital endeavors from early high school, including director, writer, and more recently executive producer and visual effects artist in his own ventures. Since 2009 Stevenson has dedicated his time to infusing passion in the next generation of filmmakers and making cerebral films through his company Versa Studios Media.

A few of his accolades include «Best Experimental» and «Audience Choice» awards at the 2011 Frog Baby Film Festival, a David Letterman Scholarship from Ball State University for his music video «In MemorIAM», an internship for SONY at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) convention, and as of late receiving distribution with ITN for his first feature-​length film ‘Cheery Point’.
