I had actually never visited The Yum Center before Madonna’s big visit to Louisville and while in my opinion there are plenty of other venues that I like more, but actually Yum wasn’t that bad. We were way up in God’s country as our original seats were 326. But there was a lady walking around who was just the sweetest thing, handing out tickets that(I’m guessing no one had showed up for) to better seats. So we moved over four rows and closer to heaven but the stage was much clearer where we were moved to. Like most venues there is food and drinks, but they are damn expensive. Like $ 8 for a domestic beer and $ 9ish for a simple cocktail(i.e. bourbon & coke). $ 5 for a slice of pizza and just too damn expensive for that in my opinion. The drink I ordered was good but 9 bucks is a lot. The other problem that I had was that once you enter the building you cannot leave to have a cigarette or go to your vehicle as once you leave the building you cannot come back according to a different lady who was roaming the halls while we were waiting for The Queen to arrive. Overall I’m impressed with the Yum! Center and next time I am going to try and get better seats for the event, providing the bots and legal scalpers don’t pick them up first.

Whether you’re rocking out at a concert or attending Disney on Ice… The Yum Center is for you! I have been to over 60 games and 20 concerts and never leave dissatisfied. The food in the suites is magnificent, along with the suite servers. They are so nice and give you all the booze you could imagine! When you don’t have the ability to be in the suites., it’s okay because you have better seats anywho! The beer is still great and the cocktails give you a buzz. You must plan on running into at least ten people from high school which can be a good or bad thing.

Just called the box office at the YUM Center, and the man I spoke with was a complete A**Hole FORNOREASON. I was calling to inquire about potential concert tickets that I could purchase through the box office, that weren’t available on Ticketmaster’s online website. Right away, the guy sighed real heavily, and cut me off to tell me, «What the best available is online at TM, is what we have here, at the box office.» I explained very nicely that I knew the concert I plan on attending ISN’T EVENSOLDOUT, and asked once more,(again politely) if he could just do a search for me on their map, to see what other tickets he could see, that I obviously couldn’t. Before I could even finish speaking, he cuts me off again, and this time with a strict tone, repeating what he already told me. «Again, what the best available that you are seeing online is what we have here». I then said, «Okay, thanks for the help, I guess», then a real snarky quip of, «Ok», and hung up on me. Obviously, someone hates their job. Bottom line, you don’t treat customers like they are a nuiscance. If you don’t like to deal with customers calling to ask for a little bit of assistance in searching for tickets, that they are PAYINGFOR, then let me give you the outcome of the situation. a) you are an idiot, because you just lost $ 720 in concert ticket sales to the Yum Center. And b) you should not be in the customer service industry. Good luck in life, pal. KFC Yum Center, get your people in line.

KFC Yum Center houses concerts and basketball games. I am sure there are other events held there, but I have only experienced music and sports. Every time I go the Yum Center, I am pleased. The employees are friendly and more than willing to help you locate your seat or even take a photo of you and your friends for *InStAgRaM*. The bathrooms have always had toilet paper in each stall. The soap is always full, and there are towels to dry your hands off with. There are all kinds of different food there to fulfill your tummy’s needs during your event. There is obviously pizza and nachos. But there is also every kind of popcorn and nuts you could imagine. Plus, Homemade Pie Kitchen is there! You will have your pick of drinks as well. I have had a wonderful experience every single time I come to the Yum Center.

My weekends are mostly spent here during the fall and winter months for UL Volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball. A fun venue to see an event in.

This place is absolute bullshit. No smoking areas, no re-entry, overly rude and low intellect staff, vendors that are cash only and outrageous ATM fees. I for one will never return and hope for it’s ultimate demise!

My friends and I came from Nashville to come see 5 Seconds of Summer at the Yum Center. The venue itself is wonderful. Our seats were great and the bathrooms were very clean BUT the procedures taken by the staff were UNACCEPTABLE. Security was rude, the doors opened late, they didn’t check bags until we got inside and children were trampling over greenery. All in all it was a wonderful venue but poor, poor staff procedures were executed.

The Yum center is a very nice establishment it’s a very nice and up to date & modern facility. The concert we attended was ran very poorly but it had nothing to do with the niceness of the arena. I would like to attend another event at the Yum center where the entertainers actually perform. This is bad mouthing is not for the artist it’s the promoters. There were a lot of concession stands with different choices of foods and plenty of beer and cocktail stands. If you’ve never been to the Yum Center I would suggest going.
