Oh chills, how infrequently I visit thee. Significant hunger at an airport with little choices brought me to you in desperation. The first taste instantly reminded me of how you think salt is flavor and how two cups of salt on everything you serve must be twice as good.

Still stuck in the airport when lunch rolls around and we head over to Chili’s because the options are limited and we already tried the other sit down restaurant. We have hours to go, so we try and relax at the bar. Charging our devices and grabbing a drink and meal. I ordered the Pomegranate Margarita and he ordered a large beer. I needed some soup but we settled on a couple bowls of chili. I ordered the Turlinga Chili, which doesn’t have beans and was pretty good. My guy ordered the Spicy Chicken with bean that was so salty, even for him and he loves salt. For our lunch, we split a burger. It was okay, it was a little overcooked, but decent. The food was overall a 3 star, but the service was a 5. Our waitress was very nice and never left us waiting for a drink, our food or anything else we needed. She even made me a nice cup of tea with bourbon to sooth my sore throat. So I gave the extra star for good service and would come back again, if I was at the airport in Lou’ville.

This review is for the Chili’s To Go «grab and go» pre-packaged food stand located next to the Chili’s Too restaurant at Louisville International Airport. OK, Chili’s To Go, I get it… You’re located in an airport, which means you’re a supply and demand business where people are stuck here after they make it through security and to the gate area, and you’re one of the only options they’ve got for food that they can grab quickly and that’s maybe ½ way nutritious. That being said, it’s not cool for you to painfully sodomize your customers on the prices of your foods the way you seem to. I got a small turkey wrap and a cup of yogurt. Judging by the labels and the way they were packaged, these items were made off-site en masse in a processing plant, then wrapped, labeled and shipped to this stand at SDF. It’s not like these items were made to order or made on site with care or anything and you don’t have a dining area to maintain, people are simply buying your products and eating them at the gates or on their planes. I got those 2 items and a bottle of Vitamin Water. The total was $ 18. You’re kidding me, right? Earlier today I had a proper 3 course meal in a restaurant with table service and it didn’t cost $ 18!

Four stars for having surprisingly tasty wraps at a reasonable price. I had the turkey wrap with no sauce and will definitely stop here again whenever I’m in the A concourse.

The only place in Concourse A of Louisville International Airport — post security — to buy cold bottled water(other than one vending machine down towards Gate A12). You can also get sodas, sandwiches, snacks to go. Picked up a couple of bottles before getting on a plane to Dulles.

Once again at the airport– tried it one more time. Had frozen eggrolls with ODD insides– served with the wrong sauce… should have been fresh salsa… sorry charlie– this place was awful once more and never again. NONE of the drinks on menu have prices… why cause it is ridiculously priced and if they put the prices on there you would not order…

For an airport, I-need-to-eat-food-really-quick-so-I-don’t-miss-my-flight, this food was quite tastey. It was fast and warm which is really what airport food is all about. I had the Club Sandwich with fries and it filled my tummy up and put a smile on my face.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a Chili’s near my gate at Louisville International Airport. There is a Chili’s To Go option as well as the regular, full sit-down restaurant. The place was busy, but seats seemed to open up pretty quickly. Prices were the same as non-airport Chili’s, which are reasonable. The service was good. Apparently my food took longer than expected to come out(which I hadn’t noticed, questioned, or complained about), so my server came over to apologize and to let me know that the manager would be taking care of my bill. Totally unnecessary, but totally wonderful.

Pleasantly surprised with my experience here. As a vegetarian I was really afraid about options at SDF. However, I actually had an enjoyable meal here during a delay. So, what I ended up with was rice and beans with steamed broccoli. It was tasty, but nothing super fabulous by any means. The service was really good, especially considering the place is packed. I mean, there are not many options here for food, and with many flight delays, nothing to do, so may as well eat.

Service suuuuuuuuuuuuucks! (I wrote this thoughtful review while waiting for the bartender to finally pay attention to me.) Louisville Airport location near Continental gates.
