We are a casual Italian restaurant that is a favorite dining spot for locals and visitors to the Los Osos area. Our menu is made up of regional pastas, salads, soups, Italian specialities and seafood specials. Jimmy Bump‘s also serves beer and wines, we also feature hous made desserts. Our prices are very affordable and we accept cash, local checks and credit cards.

History

Established in 2003.

Jimmy Bump‘s Pasta House was brought about by my grandchildren wanting me to open a restaurant in their home town, after searching for a location we settled on a small restaurant that had recently closed. All the decorating was done by my wife and myself, and Jimmy Bump‘s was a name my granddaughter Sami came up with. I had already owned and operated many Italian restaurants on the central coast but this one is very special to me because my daughter works here as well as two of my grandchildren. It is truly a family affair.

Started in the restaurant business at the age of sixteen in the San Fernando Valley, managed several Italian restaurants in the valley until moving to Shell Beach in 1973 to run the Spyglass Inn. Opened several Italian restaurants up and down the coast through the years that followed, keeping some for many years before selling them. Served as State Director for the California Restaurant Assn. for 12 years.
