Dr. Verrette is amazing! I’ve seen him a few times and every time I go in for an appointment he never disappoints me. He’s always so friendly and understanding, and he’s very patient. Hes extremely professional and takes great care in explaining in detail of what needs to be done to get me better. I’ve referred a few of my friends over to Dr. Verrette and they all love him. Thank you Dr. V for all you do!

Like pulling teeth with this guy. I had a 9am appointment and didn’t actually speak to the Doc until almost 10:15. The staff was super helpful, got me in a room, took my X-Ray’s quickly and were incredibly polite. But then I had to wait around until the Doc could finally see me. He gave me a quick diagnosis with an option of pain killers and surgery and almost zero other information. I have a few issues going on and have been to this Rodeo many times before, I was extremely frustrated by his flippant attitude and my having to beg him to expand on the tiny crumb of information he gave me on the diagnosis. Just skip ahead and go straight to the next Doctor you would pick for that second opinion.

This was my 4^th podiatrist in 3 years and finally got a proper diagnosis. I have flat feet and chronic heel/​foot pain. Tried orthotics and that cured my shin splints but didnt help with foot pain. I’ve received confused looks from each because i’m not a typical pattern for this kind of pain — i’m young, not overweight, and somewhat athletic. Finally Dr Verrette diagnosed me with equinus. Hooray! Finally got some answers through all this pain! I’m scheduled for some ASTYM and physical therapy and hoping this will rid me of my chronic pain. Will update again after some rehab.

First and foremost my injury is physically about as complicated as it gets, a combination of nerve and mechanical damage to both feet. Both my feet were severly crushed in a industrial accident. Since the beggining Dr. Verrette has been very professional, caring, informative and honest. It has been a long drawn out battle (2 years), not only with my injuries but with the insurance carrier. Dr. Verrette has dealt with both with my best interest in mind. At my lowest mental state, he gave me Hope. My life might never be the same, but thanks to Dr. Verrette I am functional and my pain is manageable (improving). I’m looking forward to one day resuming my hobbies, Thanks to DR. Verrette.

My experience with Dr. Verrette was all around great! When I first called to make an appointment, he did not have an openings at an early date. However, 5 minutes after hanging up the phone, his office called me back saying he could fit me in the next morning. I was so ecstatic to have a doctor go out of their way to make time for me considering I was in a lot of pain.
Before seeing Dr. Verrette, I had seen a dermatologist who was not helpful whatsoever for my plantar wart. The second Dr. Verrette stepped in the room for our first appointment, he immediately had a plan of attack and took the time to explain the speedy procedure. I felt like I was in good hands from the start. Before I knew it, my foot was all better within a couple of weeks. During those two weeks, I even made a call to his office for a question regarding the healing process. Dr. Verrette called me back immediately and answered my questions on the phone, making me feel at ease once again.
He is the type of doctor that truly cares about all of his patients. He will ask about your family, your day, and even chat about a baseball game with you. I would 100% recommend him to anyone that is looking for a top-​notch doctor that knows what he’s doing.

I started seeing Dr. Verrette in January of this year for ongoing foot issues that I had already had 5 prior surgeries from other doctors for.
When Dr. Verrette came into the exam room and started asking me questions I could tell he was a lot different than the doctors I had seen in the past. He was having me do various things with my foot like walking, standing in place, turn it certain directions and manipulating it with his hand. He seemed very thorough with his assessment and questioning which I greatly appreciated.
After his exam we sat down and he went over his thoughts of what my issues were. He said I have flat feet and that all the past surgeries were only putting a band-​aid on the issues the flat foot was causing and not addressing the route cause. He told me about a procedure called Hyprocure and said he had seen great success with it from other patients he performed the procedure on. He even gave me the website information and told me to do my research on it so I would know what it entailed.
I was sold and told him ‘let’s do it.’ We got my surgery date scheduled and what I really loved about Dr. Verrette was how adamant he was about having me take a very thorough health exam prior to my surgery. I had blood work done, an EKG, a chest x-​ray and full physical from my general practitioner. I have had over 20 surgical procedures in my lifetime and never had a doctor check my health like Dr. Verrette did.
I’ve since had my procedure that went very well and Dr. Verrette has been Johnny-​on-​the-​Spot with addressing any questions or concerns. If you call his number he normally personally answers or will at least call you back within a few minutes (honestly, what doctor does that?). Even late nights, weekends or while he’s on vacation; I have called him at all these times and he is always willing to talk to me and helps with whatever my issues are.
He is a cool guy and takes the time to listen to you and answer your questions. He is truly amazing! I have seen numerous podiatrists over the years and none of them hold a candle to Dr. Verrette. I am so thankful I found him and that he finally got to the route cause of my foot problem and did something about it.

Really liked his style, He explained everything to me including my treatment options. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a podiatrist.
He evn has Saturday appointments for buy professionals.

Dr. Verrette sent my boyfriend on a wild goose chase.
He was required, by his insurance, to get a refferal from Dr. Verrette so he could get PT on his sprained ankle.
Should be easy right?
He went to Dr. Verrette who insisted he get an x-​ray. The xray technicians he sent my boyfriend to were either incompetent or given incorrect instructions because the x-​rays didn’t show the correct part of his ankle and they had to be redone. Finally, the x-​rays revealed nothing was broken.
Okay, great, how bout that referrel?
Nope, time for an MRI. My boyfriend then has to hound the MRI place he was referred to, to finally get an apt a week out. He gets his MRI and waits, and waits, and waits. NOTHING! He calls the MRI place, they say to call the Dr (and that the Dr. SHOULD HAVE CALLED HIM ALREADY).
He calls the Dr. and Dr. Verette says, call the MRI place. My boyfriend explains that he already called them and they said, that Dr. Varette would be able to explain the results. Dr. Varette says he’ll call back once he’s looked them… NOTHING. a week goes by… My boyfriend calls Dr. Varette AGAIN and finds out that he’s on vacation for the next week.
Absolutely TERRIBLE care and follow through. It’s been over 3 weeks since the process started and still, no conclusion, no referrel, no diagnosis. This is a complete failure.

I went to Dr. Verrette today for some foot issues I’ve been putting off for years for fear I’d be told never to wear heels again (the horror). What an exuberant and informative session it was! Dr. V was passionate about his craft, open to all sorts of questions, and did not tout surgery as the cure-​all. Though the damage my feet have sustained is not easily corrected I feel I’ve found an honest doctor to accompany me on the long journey to pain-​free running…

Dr. Robert Verrette is quite simply put the BEST DOCTOR I have ever had. Having seen a lot of doctors and specialists I can honestly say Dr. Verrette is hands down the best. He’s literally like a TV doctor or the way TV doctor’s like a George Clooney portrays a doctor. It’s the dream of what we want our doctors to strive to be. He has amazing bedside manner, personable, professional and knows his stuff. He cares about figuring out the issue and actually helping the patient resolve the issue. I wish I could say I’ve met a lot more doctors like him but sadly I haven’t. He is in a class all his own. You see the other 5 star reviews so obviously I’m not alone and the two low reviews are literally for ridiculous things. Toe nails clipped too low? You were upset that you felt he rushed his time at a clinic he donates his time too? There were critics who hated Citizen Kane & The Godfather and now they are looked at as fools. Obviously anyone and everyone has an opinion but look at the other reviews… he helped people to walk again. If I didn’t have him I would be laying on a bed and not able to get out. He helped resolve my issues, provide guidance and get me to a better point. He’s always been attentive to my concerns and just whip smart. No one is better. I say that honestly and with over 2+ decades of various doctors and specialists. He is everything you ever wanted and dreamed a doctor to be.

Couple of days ago my aunt was not able to walk do to a severe toe condition. We walked into Dr. Verrette’s office and asked him for help. WITHOUT an appointment or any prior knowledge of a patient he offered to help right away. One of the comments was that «he felt no compassion». Not true at all! He saw my aunt in pain and offered his help right away. The procedure was swift and precise and she was able to walk after 15 – 20 minutes. Very knowledgeable and extremely nice doctor.

I guess that I could make up some things to say about Dr. Verrette, But truth is that he has been the best doctor I have ever had. The only complaint that I have is that he is only a specialty doctor. I have never felt that I am rushed or that my concerns are met. He deals with not only my symptoms, but what could be causing them. I never feel that when I leave his office that I’m leaving with my concerns having not been addressed. If at anytime I would have to call about my foot he would call right back before the day was over. Doctor Verrette has been my Doctor for more then 6 years and really appreciate his care.

While I do not doubt Dr Verrette is a competent podiatrist. My experience with Dr Verrette was not as favorable, as these other reviews boast. I deleted my first post, and am attempting to write this a 2^nd time… But the bottom line is, he was NOT personable, he was rushed, and I felt NO compassion from him. Maybe I saw him on a bad day. I cannot help but wonder if I had been a patient at his private practice, rather than from a clinic he donates time to, I would have had a different experience. HMMMMM?

My mom has had ankle pain for quite sometime but was recently seen by Dr. Verrette in San Jose. My mother asks lots of questions so it was nice that he didn’t rush her. He was very pleasant and explained everything with detail. I know that not only will my mom recommend him but I will also.

Dr. Verrette in Los Gatos is an EXCELLENT podiatrist! He definitely knows his craft when it comes to the human foot. He is extremely personable, where you do not feel like you are simply a number nor does he rush his office visit with you unlike certain other physicians. He takes his time with you in explaining what is being done and what should or can be done; often giving several options for you to discuss.
Both my husband and I are currently being treated for foot conditions and would not recommend anyone else other than Dr. Robert Verrette!

I had been experiencing some severe foot problems for the last year and a friend of mine introduced to to Dr. Robert Verrette and he was STELLAR! It’s amazing to find a doctor, nowadays, who really takes the time to not only get to know the patient personally, but also address and correct the physical needs too. I would without hesitation recommend Dr. Robert Verrette to everyone who is looking for a doctor who is professional and caring, yet also listens to his/​her patients opinions and needs as well! Bravo, Dr. Verrette!!!
