The staff at Dr. Mandela Ayers office is absolutely horrible. My mother has been begging for a phone call back and no one will help her! They are extremely rude, will not return phone calls, will have you on hold for hours, will come back with no answers and do not forward messages to the doctor! My mother has been calling for one month now trying to get her prescription and no is helping her. The pharmacy has already sent an authorization form over to her doctor and the staff. in order for my mom to get her medication this form needs to be filled out. Its been over a month and they still have not sent over the form. My mother has spoken with Tina, Sharlene, and Margaret at Dr. Mandalas office and no one seems to care. Sharlene is the absolute worst. My mom has asked her time after time that she would like to speak with the doctors and sharlene will not let her. she will not forward the message to the doctor either unless the doctor is not calling me back. This woman puts me in hold for hours, comes back laughing saying «oh you are still holding» and still didn’t help me. Are you serious! Is this some kind of sick joke! What kind of business are they operating over there. This Dr has the worst staff I have ever seen. If you are looking for an office that has a great staff, wonderful customer service, and is willing to help you and care for your needs — this is definitely not the place for you to go. The doctor herself is very nice, but her staff sucks. I’m definitely going to be contacting the Better Business Bureau. If I could I would give them zero stars and that’s even a lot.

I am a personal assistant to an elderly lady, she just turned 97 years old this week. I have driven her to her doctor’s visits with Dr. Mandeep Ayer for at least 5 years now. The doctor provides excellent care of my elderly boss/​friend. The doctor takes the time to listen to Maxine, who happens to be very hard of hearing. The doctor treats Maxine with dignity, allowing her to talk about her various ailments and addressing treatment for each one. She is also mindful of facing Maxine when she is talking so, my boss can better read the doctor’s lips when she talks. The doctor will also take time to fill me in on the care that my boss needs so, I can help my boss/​friend in her medical needs. I really appreciate her patience, and effort to keep Maxine mobile and in good health.
The office staff, Pam, is great. She always greets us with a smile when we come into the office. She is helpful on the phone when I need to call and make an appointment or I just have a question I need to ask on behalf of my boss.
Dr. Ayer’s nurse is also calm and always pleasant. She is quick to have any paperwork that the doctor needs to send home, with my boss as she leaves, ready for us to take, i.e. lab requisitions, referrals, printout of that day’s visit, etc.
It is a doctor’s office reminiscent of how doctor’s office use to be, back in the 70’s with the personal touch of one on one patient interaction, yet with a modern day flare. They have the ability to send prescriptions to the pharmacy from their computer so, the medicine is ready to be picked up, when we leave the office. The doctor has also established on online dashboard for confidential doctor/​patient communication where I can, with Maxine, send messages to the doctor and also look up current list of medications and other related health information on my boss.
I would highly recommend Dr. Mandeep Ayer.

Dr. Man deep is pretty great, she’s old school doctor with new world info. However, and it’s a big however, she is difficult to get an appointment with unless you are in an acute stage of severe sickness. Also her office staff is not child friendly at all and can be quite rude and bad on billing double insurance. They need another body to answer additional phone calls, and she doesn’t really have a back up physician if you need to get in and it’s «cold season» ect. I have been on hold for nearly an hour before and sometimes would get a call back 5 minutes before closing so you don’t have time to book an appointment when they «call you back». For these reasons it can be extrodinarily difficult to see her and not get Very perturbed. In fact, I have gotten my own secondary doctor because of it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ayer’s for close to 20 years. She is very dedicated, knowledgeable and thorough. I suffered a bout of sub-​acute thyroiditis approximately 6 years ago. It was a slow onset and she remained diligent in looking for the cause of my illness — requesting blood work regularly and ordering tests until finally my thyroid levels crashed. She was right on top of it and prescribed prednisone immediately. Later I was told by an endocronologist that she had saved my thyroid. She also treats my husband and best friend. She has made referrals to specialists for a second opinion when appropriate. The reason I am not giving her 5 stars is because I have had issues in the past with her front desk staff. She seems to have addressed those issues and should they continue to improve, I will change my rating.

Experienced a bad sinus infection which eventually cleared. Dr Mandeep Ayer ordered a CT scan. At my appointment she informed me I would most likely need sinus surgery. I was shocked by this news and decided to get a 2^nd opinion from an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. When he arrived in the exam room to review my scan films, he asked so why exactly are you here, I am looking at perfectly healthy sinuses! Wow, good thing I didn’t go on Dr Ayer’s diagnosis.
