I just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the employee Marshall… I went in the other day to test/​replace my battery and he went above and beyond. He was professional, courteous, hands on and embodied the term «customer service.» He literally was elbow deep in my truck helping me replace my batteries and cleaning out corrosion for about an hour. Thanks again, I’ll be back for sure!!!

Jason the manager is a real A Hole, if you want to be treated with respect from someone that likes his job, you are better off going to another autopart store, BIG BUUUUU for who assigned that guy to be in charge of the store! Jason, go back to school or get a tech carrer so you can find a Job you like!!!

I’m usually pretty lenient and don’t write reviews often, but this place deserved a bad review.
I came in 2 days ago and just needed to pickup some fuses. I found what I thought was the fuse I was looking for, last one on the shelf but already opened. Just looked and checked the fuse and looked fine so I bought it and took it home (along with a spark plug gapper).
After opening the spark plug gapper, found out it has definitely been used before as some of the feelers were bent and car grease was already all over everything. No biggie, I just cleaned it up and gapped my spark plugs.
Opened the fuse and noticed it wasn’t the one I was looking for. Went back today to return the fuse and the lady behind the desk wouldn’t take it back. I calmly explained that I purchased multiple items from the store and they were all used. She said they don’t take back electronics, although you can clearly see the fuse is still intact. I asked her to take the return, but she still refused. So, I told her I wouldn’t be back again (expecting her to take the return). Nope, no response, not even a care in the world from her.
Well, for a place that sold me two «used» products and won’t take back my return… on top of not taking back a return that was only ~$ 4 with a «I won’t ever come back here again». Sounds like they really don’t care about their customers.
I’ll go down camden for my auto parts needs from now on. Goodluck in business.

This was the third place we went to about my car battery!
After having a horrible experience just trying to find someone to TEST the battery for free, I finally called O’Reilly and the guy that answered was very helpful! He assured me that they would charge the battery for an hour, then test it to let us know if it was, in fact, DEAD… for free. It WAS dead, so guess what? …O’Reilly is where I bought my new battery. If those other sour-​sports had offered a free test (and a lot less attitude), they’d have had my $ 100.
Shame on you SpeeDee and Chevron of Los Gatos!

They hire people who don’t work on cars but at least they carry gasket remover. Good selection of garage chemicals. Everyone is friendly and check out is quick.

this O’reilly is the closest one to my house and where i work so me and my friends go there when we need parts for our cars, which is quite often. Many of the times we have been here the employees have been helpful but they spoke to us very impolitely and rudely. Me and my friends know quite a bit about cars and what we need but sometimes we can’t find it in the store or have questions to clear up some confusion and the responses have been less than polite. i think i will go down the street a few blocks to A&M which i have been going to for years with my grandpa and the service there is great! the only problem is they are not open as late. So when time permits i will take my business other places.

There’s an O’Reilly Auto Parts near my house but I choose to use this location because I find this to be a very well run store; much more so than others I’ve patronized.
This location is in the same center as a FedEx store that I was patronizing. I decided to stop in O’Reilly to get a head gasket kit for a Jeep Scrambler I’m working on in my «spare» time.
The guy that assisted me was very helpful and I was surprised at how much nicer the store was, and how much friendlier the personnel were at this location than at the store where usually shop. T
Cut to about a year later when I finally had time to work on the Jeep again only to realize I had to send the head out to be resurfaced, valve job, etc. When I finally got a chance to begin reassembly, I opened the gasket set and went to install the head only to find out I had been sold the WRONG gasket set. ARGH!!!
I was super frustrated because I don’t have really have the time to work on my Jeep and so when I get a few hours every now and then, I like to work uninterrupted. Plus, it says right on the package that the gasket set can’t be returned once it’s opened. Furthermore, it had been a year or more since I’d purchased the gasket set and I had no idea what I’d done with the receipt.
I contacted the gasket manufacturer to find out what the correct gasket set was supposed to be and learned that the one I had been sold was «almost» the same — just slightly different engine size (150 instead of the 151 cubic inch version).
I’d shopped this O’Reilly several times since this gasket purchase and have always been pleased so, I decided I’d reorder the gasket set from them even though I knew I’d have to «eat the cost» of the mistake. But, guess what? They looked up the original order and then took back the wrong gasket set, giving me full credit, and reordered the correct gasket set to arrive the next day.
Okay, so it doesn’t fully make-​up for the ordering the wrong gasket set (I had to pay the machine shop for new valve seals that are actually included in the correct set but weren’t even a part of the wrong set). And, I lost the time /​momentum I don’t get very often. But, the important point to me is that these guys are tops in customer service. They realized they made a mistake and took care of it instead of just blowing it off. Thanks Victor!!! You ROCK!
To me, this says GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. My days of hanging out a garages and auto parts stores just because I was interested in cars and it was a cool thing to do have LONG, LONG since passed. Now days, I just want what I need — get in /​get out. To me, this place is where I’ll continue to shop.

The bf and I came here to replace the battery for an Avalanche that’s been sitting unused for a while. He came in first and I strolled in later. I found it funny how the two workers here gawked at me in amazement like they had never seen a woman in an auto parts store. Nobody asked him if he needed help but it was the first and only question that was asked of me. Oh, you silly men. Guess what? I can change a flat too… {Mind Blown}
We were able to get what we wanted and be on our way. They offer to give your $ 12 deposit back if you bring in the old, dead battery. The store looked fully stocked and had plenty of people working for a Saturday morning. Wished they had a bigger, better selection of seat covers for your car but that seems hard to find these days.

This used to be a Kragens and is the closest auto parts shop to my house. I came here for years with my old bug for parts or various things, usually to do a little bit of work in the parking lot, and they were always happy to help or lend me tools. I most recently came here in my Golf as it was getting dark one night and I noticed one of my running lights was out. The kind young man working there found the bulb and came out to make sure I knew what I was doing, then lent me the tool I needed out of his tool kit. When I couldn’t get the clip off the light fixture, he came out (now after dark) and painstakingly took everything apart, replaced the bulb, and talked me through how the clip attached and the light went back together. I no longer find working on this new car quite so daunting, and I’m sure I will continue to enjoy my visits to this location.
